A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in thermal sciences or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of relevant design experience is required. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, COMSOL) is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced thermal management systems for mechanical products.
  • Conduct thermal analysis using CFD and FEA tools to predict performance and identify issues.
  • Specify and select thermal components such as heat sinks, fans, pumps, and heat exchangers.
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
  • Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs) and collaborate with procurement.
  • Perform prototype testing and validation of thermal solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, manufacturing) throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Optimize designs for performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
  • Document design processes, analysis results, and test reports.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in thermal management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on thermal sciences.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design, with a specialization in thermal management.
  • Proven experience designing heat sinks, heat pipes, liquid cooling systems, or similar thermal solutions.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor).
  • Strong experience with thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, COMSOL, FloTHERM).
  • Solid understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
  • Experience with experimental testing and data analysis of thermal performance.
