We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Mechanical Engineer specializing in Thermodynamics to join our advanced engineering team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location within India. You will be a technical leader, responsible for driving the design, analysis, and optimization of complex thermal systems for cutting-edge products. This includes managing the entire lifecycle of thermal solutions, from concept generation and simulation to prototyping, testing, and integration. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermal management strategies, and possess a strong track record of delivering successful thermodynamic solutions in challenging engineering domains. You will mentor junior engineers and influence the technical direction of our thermal engineering efforts.

- Lead the development of thermodynamic systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform detailed thermal analysis using CFD and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Star-CCM+, COMSOL) to predict system behavior under various operating conditions.
- Develop and validate analytical models for heat transfer, fluid flow, and phase change phenomena.
- Design and optimize heat exchangers, cooling systems, and other thermal management components.

- Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermodynamics or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on thermodynamics and heat transfer.
- Expert proficiency in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software for thermal simulations.
- Deep understanding of heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation) and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with thermal testing methodologies and equipment.
- Proven ability to develop and validate complex thermodynamic models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for thermal component design.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor technical teams.
- Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics cooling, or energy is highly desirable.
