Job Title: Travel Consultant

Location: Andheri West

Salary: ₹40,000 per month


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant who can handle visa processing, travel planning, and client servicing efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international and domestic travel regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver a smooth travel experience for clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients with travel planning , including flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation.
  • Manage visa applications and provide accurate information on visa requirements and documentation.
  • Offer end-to-end travel solutions ensuring compliance with travel and immigration policies.
  • Handle travel bookings, itinerary preparation, and cost estimations.
  • Advise clients on travel insurance , currency exchange, and destination-specific guidelines.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and provide exceptional client service throughout the process.
  • Maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and service providers for better deals


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role (min. 2 years preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of visa processes and travel documentation.
  • Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple bookings and work under deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Position Title: Airline Reservations

• Education: HSC or Graduate (Travel/IATA certifications preferred)

• Experience: 3 to 5 years or more in the travel industry

• Background: Hands-on experience in travel agency sales, ticketing, and operational support


Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage PNRs, queue placements, and ticketing with all required elements.

• Handle end-to-end ticketing operations including refunds, exchanges, voids, insurance sales,

and fare reissues.

• Use SharePoint for supplier contracts and documentation; stay current with airline policies,

commissions, and procedures.

• Utilize advanced GDS and NDC systems (e.g., Fare Logix, TK Connect, Agent360) to issue

tickets, process refunds, and optimize fare solutions.

• Accurately calculate manual reissues, partial refunds, and fare differences when required.

• Process waivers and refunds via airline portals (e.g., Lufthansa Star Partners); follow up

directly with airlines for resolution.

• Manage escalated or urgent cases—especially for stranded passengers—by quickly

identifying and executing appropriate solutions.

• Conduct regular ticket quality checks and reporting; maintain operational accuracy and

compliance.


Core Competencies:

• Proficient in at least two GDSs (reservations, ticketing, post-sales changes, penalties, etc.).

• Strong understanding of fare construction (published, net, student, missionary, etc.).

• Skilled in NDC systems, airline portals, and integrated travel platforms.

• Knowledge of contracts, commissions, and tactical fare actions.

• Knowledge in Microsoft office


Behavioral Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Results-driven with a strong focus on client conversion and service quality

• Effective both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to mentor peers on decision-making and operational best practices

• Includes but is not limited to the above competencies
