Our esteemed Federal Government client requires the services of a highly skilled Senior User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Designer for an initial 12 month contract. It is expected that you will possess 5 years’ experience in human-centred service design, with a deep understanding of the Digital Transformation Agency’s Digital Service Standard.
You will contribute to creating visually stunning and user-friendly digital experiences. You will work on crafting intuitive solutions that make environmental data accessible and understandable for diverse user groups. Your designs will enhance the usability and interactivity of data, reports, scientific papers, and spatial data visualizations, which are key for driving decisions.
Key Duties
User Interface Design:
- Design visually compelling and functional user interfaces for websites, web applications, and spatial/geospatial platforms.
- Create interfaces tailored to technologies like ESRI, ArcGIS, and other geospatial tools, balancing aesthetics with technical constraints.
- Design and optimize user interfaces with a focus on accessibility and compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to deliver inclusive and user-friendly digital experiences.
User Experience Design:
