We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior UI/UX Design Lead  to shape and elevate the user experience of our eCommerce mobile app and website . This role combines strategic design leadership with deep individual contribution. You’ll lead the entire design lifecycle – from ideation to launch – ensuring that every digital interaction across our eCommerce platforms is intuitive, beautiful, and conversion-optimized.

Key Responsibilities

Design  Strategy & Vision

  • Own the end-to-end design vision for the eCommerce app and web platform

  • Define user journeys, information architecture, and interaction flows based on business goals and customer insights.

  • Lead the evolution and scalability of a unified design system across all digital touchpoints.


  • Hands-On Design Leadership
  • Translate complex requirements into polished, high-fidelity visual designs and prototypes.

  • Balance hands-on execution with leadership — actively designing while guiding junior/mid-level designers.

  • Build, maintain, and scale the UI component library and UX patterns.


  • User Research & Optimization
  • Partner with product and research teams to conduct user interviews, usability testing, and A/B tests.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative data (session recordings, heatmaps, analytics) to drive informed design decisions.

  • Continuously refine the experience for performance metrics like conversion, retention, engagement, and LTV.


  • Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders: product managers, engineers, marketing, and customer success.

  • Lead and facilitate design critiques, sprint planning, and design reviews.

  • Align design work with broader brand and business objectives.

  • Should be able to work with agencies in terms of mentoring them on guidelines and requirements and managing deadline and quality of work


  • Requirements
  • 10-12years  of experience in UI/UX/Product Design with at least 3+ years in a leadership or principal design role .

  • Proven experience designing and shipping high-scale eCommerce platforms  (web + native mobile apps).

  • Mastery of design tools like Figma , Adobe CC, or equivalent (Sketch, XD).

  • Deep understanding of responsive design design systems micro-interactions , and accessibility standards (WCAG).

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, including working directly with engineering teams in agile environments.

  • Strong visual design, interaction design, and user-centric problem-solving skills.


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in consumer-facing, B2C or D2C commerce (fashion, retail, electronics, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) to understand dev constraints.

  • Experience working with performance and experimentation tools (e.g. Mixpanel, GA4, Optimizely).

  • Comfortable presenting to C-suite and aligning design thinking with business strategy.
