**Job Summary**
This role is responsible for providing the Validation and Testing support. This is a key technical role responsible for the creation of test plan, test cases and test reports for the development activities as per the Customer requirement spec. The role involves hands-on work around validation and testing, quality-oriented validation test and reporting activities across the various projects or programs.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Understanding of product development lifecycles, design change and document change control, process verification and validation methodologies, manufacturing / production process control methodologies, and servicing.
+ Work closely with hardware and firmware engineers to develop test strategy.
+ Work on Design Verification and Validation test activities
+ Experience with electronic test equipment
+ Perform Design FMEA with guidance for the hardware and software module by discussing with hardware/Software design engineers and principal Architect
+ Report defects found during testing on the test management system and track defect status periodically.
+ Analyze and troubleshoot root cause problems with the product.
+ Successfully communicate appropriate project information to cross functional teams.

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
