Kroll is looking for a Senior Consultant who will be involved in providing support to our global valuation practice and develop his/her own career in real estate industry with focus to Global Real Estate market. The opportunity is ideal for professionals who use global best practices, tools and techniques by working on valuation engagements for global clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Building relationships with Kroll offices across the globe, demonstrating knowledge of regional practices, business and developing open communication channels.
- Sound understanding of all the valuation approaches and its application to various property type like: office, retail, multifamily, warehouse, hotel among others
- Assist team members to prepare presentation for valuation services pitch, preparation of engagement letter, proposal, time and fee estimate etc
- Performing US and international real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory
- Managing projects and assisting team members in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner
- Well versed with usage of real estate valuation tools
- Well versed with excel financial models and report writing skills
- Performing in-depth client, industry, market and competitor research
- Performing research for publications and industry specific insights
- Addressing to all the clients' and/or auditors' queries regarding the valuation of the subject property/assets
Essential traits :
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in US & global real estate market.
- Candidate must hold Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant post-graduation from an accredited college or university
- Expertise in tools such as Argus Enterprise, MS Office and various data base such as: CoStar, RCA Analytics, Bloomberg, CapIQ etc
- Should have sound knowledge on valuation of real estate assets using all approaches such: Income Approach, Market Approach and Cost Approach
- Work experience in valuation, due diligence, purchase price allocation, impairment analysis, litigation services, merger & acquisition, lease audit services and financial reporting
- Well versed with excel financial models and report writing skills;
- Computer proficiency and ability to maximize use of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point;
- Experience in financial modeling including creating valuation models for various property types
- Should have valid passport at time of joining;
- Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Position Summary:
The Senior Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and property valuations to support investment decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate markets, financial modeling techniques, and deal structuring. You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, as well as managing existing portfolio assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling and valuation analysis for various property types (commercial, residential, industrial).
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and demographic data to identify investment opportunities and risks.
- Prepare detailed investment memos, due diligence reports, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable sales analysis, and residual land valuation.
- Assist in the acquisition and disposition process, including negotiation support and transaction execution.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the company's real estate portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, appraisers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Provide support for asset management activities, including leasing strategies and capital expenditure planning.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market dynamics affecting the real estate industry.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and smooth transaction processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA charter is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, financial modeling, or corporate finance, with a focus on real estate.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling in Excel, including advanced functions and techniques.
- Excellent understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and market analysis.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and utilize data analysis tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge of Indian real estate market dynamics is a significant advantage.

Amazon is currently looking to hire an experienced Manager - Real Estate to join the team and play a critical role in supporting all property acquisition activity across North of India. Regular travel will be require and this role reports to the Regional Manager - Real Estate North.
In this role, you will support the India team to ensure the timely completion of new lease transactions including renewals, expansions, terminations, and reconfiguration of existing warehouse space. This encompasses the entire process from working with the local management team in defining the requirements, lease negotiations (business and legal terms), on-site surveys, comparative financial analysis of lease transaction, and project management to affect the end result. Your primary objective in this role is to provide adequate, cost effective storage/operation space for Amazon on the continent given the market conditions working to challenging deadlines and budgetary requirements.
Key job responsibilities
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
Deliver the Real Estate requirements of the assigned region in keeping with the overall strategy for maintaining and developing space requirements of Amazon India Warehouse/storage strategy
Ability to monitor and manage large construction projects
Develop a strong team of capable of working on and delivering various Real Estate requirements of Amazon
Develop strong relationships with developers, property consultants, and key govt. functionaries in the assigned geography
Strong understanding of the Zoning rules, Development planning byelaws, Master planning and Land title due diligence.
Discuss with local stakeholders and governmental bodies to ensure support for FC (Fulfillment Center) expansions
Innovate and structure complex real estate transactions
Landlord relations, negotiation and contractor management, including escalation of any issues beyond regular daily activity
Stakeholder management across different levels, both internal and external
Basic Qualifications
7 + years of Real Estate Transactions or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office and Project Management tools
Preferred Qualifications
