SystemVerification Engineer

Qualifications

·Create clear product design
documentation such as concept diagrams, specifications, requirements, test
plans, and V&V reports

·perform test/verification for NPI or
sustaining of innovative electromechanical products

·Establish and maintain traceability
between requirements, and testing

·Develop test protocols for the
purposes of design verification and validation

·Execute testing and generate
associated reports

·Oversee the building and testing of
prototypes, including internal team and external vendor management

·Performs hands-on system testing and
troubleshooting of technical issues

·Design benchtop tests, fixtures, and
regression test plans to prove out concepts, functionality, and safety

Required Qualification

·Bachelor’s degree in electrical,
Computer, Biotechnology, Systems Engineering, or other related field.

·5+ years’ experience in
electromechanical device and system design/verification for new product
development

·Direct hands-on systems engineering
experience, preferably with medical device electronic systems or other complex
electronic hardware.

·Technical competencies: Experience
developing software driven electromechanical devices in a regulated
environment. Broad engineering expertise across all engineering disciplines.

·Direct experience in requirements
authoring, decomposition, analysis, traceability, and verification.

·Direct experience with complex
electronics systems/component design.

·Experience in writing detailed
product Verification/qualification plans and reports.

·Experience with integrated systems
verification, including developing hardware verification test plans and
verification test reports.

·Previous experience with change
management

·Hands-on experience building,
testing, and troubleshooting prototype devices

·Ability to manage and prioritize
workload, multi-task and manage a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities, and
challenge.

Preferred Qualifications

·Familiarity with all phases of the
product development lifecycle.

·Familiarity with HW / Embedded SW
development, integration, and verification

·Familiarity with scripting and data
analysis experience using Python, MATLAB, or equivalent programming languages.

·Experience working with 3D design
tool, Creo , Solid works , Fusion 3Detc.

·Experience with low fidelity
prototyping – 3d Printing, PCB design, PCB reworks etc.

·Experience in the medical device
industry, ISO 13845 , FDA quality management system

·Enjoy working effectively as part of

Key accountabilities

· Analyse control sub-system requirements for testability (verification of the integrated ‘black box’ control system … not component or software verification)

· Allocate requirements against test vehicles defined in the verification test plan.

· Allocate system requirements to Test Subjects and Test Groups (test planning).

· Develop and review tests that will provide evidence to prove that the sub-system requirements are satisfied.

· Execute testing in remote test rigs.

· Analyse verification test results against requirements and determine results against Test Plan definitions.

· Conduct targeted interactive testing to support Problem Investigation and demonstration of problem resolution

· Capture observations and work with Control System Designers to record identified issues in configured problem reports

· Produce reports where required to document the work carried out

Key experience / qualifications

· Working knowledge of system/software requirements, requirements analysis, hardware architecture, databus communications, system interfaces, system architecture, and embedded software testing at system integration level

· A working appreciation of associated engineering disciplines.

· An ability to interpret test results and provide an informed opinion or conclusion as to the outcome of the analysis. This includes an understanding of measurement uncertainty.

· A demonstrated ability to manage tasks to completion ensuring that the relevant areas of the business are appropriately informed.

· Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment or as a sole contributor on projects

· Test script development

· Black box testing

Tools:

· PTC Integrity or similar tool for configuration management and change control.

· Matlab / Simulink, SCADE or other model based development tools – Not Mandatory

Design Verification Engineer (5+ Years Experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Verification Engineer with over 5 years of experience, specifically in HBM & DDR DRAM IP and Subsystem verification, to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in verification methodologies, System Verilog programming skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive verification plans for HBM4/4e IP and Subsystem.

Create and maintain testbenches, test cases, and verification environments using System verilog and UVM methodology.

Perform functional verification of RTL designs, including simulation, debugging, and coverage analysis.

Collaborate with design engineers to understand design specifications and requirements for IP and subsystems.

Identify and resolve design and verification issues, ensuring high-quality and robust designs.

Generate and analyze verification metrics to track progress and ensure coverage goals are met.

Participate in design and verification reviews, providing technical expertise and insights.

Stay updated with the latest verification technologies and methodologies and apply them to improve verification efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentor junior verification engineers and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in design verification, with a focus on HBM/DDR IP or Subsystem verification.

Knowledge of other memory protocols is a plus.

Proficiency in verification languages and methodologies, such as System Verilog, UVM, and other industry-standard tools.

Strong understanding of digital design concepts, RTL coding, and simulation.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) for automation and tool integration.
