Summary
We are looking for an experienced Hardware Asset Management (HAM) & CMDB Specialist to manage and enhance our client’ asset lifecycle and configuration management practices across global operations. This role involves driving end-to-end delivery, process optimization, CMDB governance, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of HAM and CMDB engagements, ensuring alignment with SLAs, KPIs, and service improvement initiatives.
- Configure robust Identification and Reconciliation rules to ensure reliable CMDB data integrity.
- Monitor CMDB health and proactively resolve data conflicts between authoritative sources.
- Define and maintain standard Configuration Items (CIs), CI relationships, and classification schemas in line with business needs.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks for HAM and CMDB.
- Create and enhance application maps using ServiceNow Service Mapping (good to have).
- Configure MID Servers for integrations and data synchronization (optional but desirable).
- Customize ServiceNow environments including scripting, automation, and module configuration.
- Design and manage reports and dashboards to support decision-making and transparency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous service improvement.
- Define, improve, and manage periodic audit and verification processes for asset data.
- Conduct regular stakeholder engagements and cadence meetings to communicate status, issues, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- At least 3years of experience on this field
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow HAM and CMDB modules.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence in IT asset and configuration management.
- Deep understanding of CMDB architecture, CI types, and dependency mapping.
- Experience handling large-scale data integration and reconciliation tasks.
- Excellent documentation and process design skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

The Analyst, Configuration Management is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves dedication to ensure safety and efficiency of PSA’s fleet, collaborating cross-functional to drive continuous improvement, and growth opportunities through development of expertise in aircraft configuration management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.
- Manage all configurations/part numbers and subsequent revisions to ensure accurate documentation in OEM, PSA Manuals, and MRO systems, as required by the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
- Complete rules area runs for Technical Services and Configuration Control, and initiate action on identified issues
- Initiate Airworthiness Directive (AD) assessment process, as outlined in the GMM, upon receipt from the Chief Inspector
- Prepare and revise Aircraft Configuration Drawings, as necessary, to reflect the PSA-approved configuration of the CRJ-700/900
- Collect and resolve all Requests for Technical Services (RFTSs) for configuration changes submitted by frontline staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by Technical Services leadership
ALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in aircraft configuration management, maintenance, or a related field
- FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:
- Experience with PSA' systems and processes
- Familiarity with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
- Knowledge of aircraft configuration management software and tools
- Certification in aircraft configuration management or a related field
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

Your Role Accountabilities:
**Configuration Management Operations**
+ Operate and maintain the ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping modules, ensuring accurate and timely population of the CMDB.
+ Troubleshoot failed scans and resolve discovery-related issues across hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud).
+ Analyze and optimize discovery patterns and probes to improve data quality and discovery performance.
+ Monitor CMDB health metrics and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
**Technical Expertise & Tool Optimization**
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in ServiceNow ITOM, with a focus on Discovery, MID Server architecture, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Collaborate with platform engineers and infrastructure teams to ensure proper deployment and configuration of MID Servers and discovery schedules.

+ Partner with ITSM, Cloud, Network, and Application teams to ensure alignment of configuration data with operational and business needs.

**Discovery & Automation Enablement**

**Documentation & Continuous Improvement**
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of discovery configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and CMDB data models.
+ Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the configuration management lifecycle.
+ Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of ITOM operations.
Qualifications & Experiences:
+ 5 + years of experience in IT Operations or Configuration Management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM.
+ Proven expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB data modeling.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills in hybrid environments, including on-premises infrastructure and public cloud platforms.
+ Experience with MID Server deployment, credential management, and discovery scheduling.
+ Familiarity with ITIL practices and CMDB governance frameworks.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or a related field.
Not Required but preferred experience:
