Job Description : Video Production Assistant
We are seeking a dynamic Video Production Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of live shoots and production activities. Key Responsibilities:
Shoot Coordination: Assist in planning and executing live shoots, ensuring all production requirements(Casting to video delivery) are met on time.
Equipment Management: Organize, maintain, and transport production equipment to shoot locations.
Location Management: Coordinate with location owners, secure permissions, and ensure locations are ready for shooting.
Logistics Support: Manage the setup and teardown of equipment, props, and other shoot essentials.
Crew Assistance: Provide on-set support to the production team, including handling miscellaneous tasks to keep shoots running smoothly.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain detailed production schedules, call sheets, vendor and equipment inventories. Coordinate payments with BOA and finance team.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification.
Prior experience in production or a similar role is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
Basic knowledge of production equipment and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A valid driver’s license and bike.

Skills Required:

- Experience and knowledge of Audio, Video editing, Motion Graphics, Corporate presentations using Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Working knowledge with Final cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve
- Knowledge in Music and Audio editing would be a plus.
- Familiarity with production pipelines and environments.
- Ability to produce classroom presentations and documentation.
- Creative experience in filmmaking and videography.
- Excellent communication skills are required.

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Production and Social Media Intern at Insomniacs in Mumbai. The intern will be responsible for production planning, quality control, production management, and training related to video production and social media campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.

2. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).

3. Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and audience preferences.

4. Stay updated on best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to social media and digital marketing.

5. Seamlessly coordinating with internal departments and complete the requirement in a timely manner.

**Primary and Must-have skills (non-negotiable requirement)**
- **Expertise in video production and editing tools** such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software (Any other software that generates similar output is acceptable, e.g. Adobe Express, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- **Creativity, originality, and a keen eye for visual storytelling**, shot composition, and video pacing to create engaging and informative video content consistently aligned with our brand voice.
- **Meticulous attention to detail**: Demonstrates accuracy in video editing, audio syncing, titling, subtitling, and narrative structure. Excellent command over grammar/spelling in all video text overlays and ability to deliver crisp, high-quality outputs.
- **Ideate, plan, capture, and edit a wide variety of video content** (instructional, promotional, explainer, testimonials, motion graphics, instructional walk-throughs, event highlights, etc.) in alignment with the brand’s guidelines and objectives, contributing proactively to improving and diversifying our video content approach.
- **Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging video production and content trends**, platforms (YouTube, Instagram Reels, etc.), and technologies (including familiarity with shooting for social-first content on DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or smartphones).
- **Portfolio showcasing end-to-end video production and editing experience.**:

- **Strong collaboration skills**: Able to work productively with cross-functional departments, especially with content, marketing, and product teams, ensuring brand-consistent video output across all organisational touchpoints.

**Requirement for this Role**
