As a Threat Detection and Response Engineer you will occupy a crucial position in our Security Operations center, with your primary focus centered on conceiving, refining and implementing use cases and strategies that intricately align with the MITRE AT&CK Framework. Your expertise with this framework and the cyber security kill chain will form the foundation where our defensive capabilities are fortified, ensuring the ability to not only identify and respond, but also impede cyber threats in a proactive manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Threat Intelligence,
- Incident Response, Forensics and Security Operations to collaboratively craft custom security use cases founded on the principles of MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Harnessing the collective intelligence to device strategies that yield valuable results.
- Draw upon your comprehensive understanding of the cyber landscape to design and execute advanced detection and response strategies, employing an array of sophisticated security tools and technologies. Your solutions will serve as the first line of defense, minimizing potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Apply your extensive knowledge of attack patterns, tactics and techniques to conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats. Unearth the subtle nuances that set apart malicious activities from innocuous ones, thus empowering the firm with a heightened security posture.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Equivalent work experience equally preferable
- Knowledge of models/frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK
- Well-developed analytic, qualitative, and quantitative reasoning skills
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities.
- Security event monitoring, investigation, and overall incident response process
- Strong time management skills to balance multiple activities and lead junior analysts as needed.
- Understanding of offensive security to include common attack methods.
- Understanding of how to pivot across multiple datasets to correlate artifacts for a single security event.
- A diverse skill base in both product security and information security including organizational structure and administration practices, system development and maintenance procedures, system software and
- hardware security controls, access controls, computer operations, physical and environmental controls, and backup and recovery procedures.
- In-depth knowledge in one or more security domains including Security Governance and Oversight,

Primary Responsibilities
Will be responsible for in leading and overseeing end-to-end delivery of Data Management delivery practice with a revenue span of $100M+ and team span of 1000+, encompassing Data Engineering, Data Migration, Data Modernization, and Data Governance projects. Proven track record of ensuring delivery excellence through well-defined methodologies, standardized practices, and quality assurance frameworks. This also includes proactively embedding data IP and solutions with existing and new client opportunities.
Data Management Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data management projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are consistently met.
- Oversee multiple concurrent programs and ensure alignment with business and IT strategies.
- Ensure delivery frameworks and methodologies are properly applied across all data initiatives
Oversee the design and implementation of modern data platforms for clients
Client and Stakeholder Management for Data Management Delivery Mandate
- Serve as the key point of contact for client’s senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Communicate overall delivery status, risks, and value delivered in a clear and actionable manner to leadership
- Align project delivery with evolving business priorities and strategic goals.
Data strategy
- Lead data strategy creation and implementation that helps the organization to effectively collect, manage, use, and protect its data to support business goals and drive value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain a clear data roadmap that outlines future data capabilities, technology adoption, and process improvements.
Technical Leadership
- Lead architecture & design: Define scalable and secure data architecture for data pipelines, warehousing, and processing systems.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Code Review & Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, review pull requests, and mentor team members on clean and efficient code.
Proposals and contracts:
- Lead the development and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) for data management projects.
- Ensure all proposals and contracts meet organizational standards and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in winning and delivering accounts within the data management domain or similar industries.
- 20+ years of experience in data-related project delivery, including 10+ years in a leadership or delivery management role.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, data warehousing, data lakes, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and data governance frameworks.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project management methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
