We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EWM consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics execution, as well as experience with configuring warehouse structures, RF/mobile data entry, handling units, wave management, and cross-docking.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document warehouse processes across inbound, outbound, internal movements, and physical inventory to identify optimization opportunities using SAP EWM.
- Configure and customize SAP EWM (decentralized or embedded in S/4HANA) to support key warehouse functions such as putaway, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, and IT to gather business requirements and design efficient warehousing solutions.
- Design and implement complex warehouse layouts, storage types, process strategies, and RF framework configurations.
- Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and develop training materials and documentation for key users and warehouse staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to warehouse execution, RF transactions, and system integration.
- Participate in SAP projects including greenfield implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements with a focus on warehousing and logistics execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM (decentralized or embedded in S/4HANA).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics execution, and inventory management processes.
- Proven experience in configuring warehouse structures (storage types, sections, bins), RF/mobile data entry, handling units, wave management, and cross-docking.
- Familiarity with integration points to MM, SD, TM, and external WMS/MES systems.
- Ability to write functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and warehouse automation interfaces.
- Experience with warehouse automation integration (e.g., conveyors, AS/RS, AGVs) is a plus.
- Knowledge of labor management, slotting/rearrangement, and warehouse analytics is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required.

- Reporting and Documentation :

Document all movements and transactions accurately.
Mandatory Skills :-
- 8+ years of experience in Inventory Management & Logistics.
- BE/B.Tech (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
- Should have proven experience in Warehouse management.
- Hands on Experience on ERP systems & Knowledge of MS office. (Word/Excel/PPT). Preferably worked on Oracle
- Fluent in English speaking, excellent in reading and writing.
