ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
- Responsible for unsecured business (GL, GL to IL conversion, IL open market) in the assigned cluster to meet the financial goals by creating sales strategies.
- Ensure conversion of existing customers at liabilities; ensure savings or current account is being opened for all existing customers and monitor on minimum balance
- Prepare business plan and financial budget for the branches in the assigned cluster
- Ensure targets are assigned & met by the branches by adhering to internal and regulatory compliance; Monitor the branches performance
- Ensure the team is coordinating with Product and marketing team to drive campaigns on all the branches under assigned cluster; ensure exceptional customer service; co-ordinate with external stakeholders
- Ensure surveys are conducted timely to open up new branches and thereby increase the business and targets
- Ensure recruitment of all branch staffs are in line with manpower budget; monitor the hiring, training and evaluation process of the employees in the branches
- Management of all the reporting staff
- Closure of Audit points and Maintaining threshold on Needs Improvement and unsatisfactory branches
- Timely disbursement of sanctioned loans
- Maintains process quality & ensures adherence to internal audit standards

To recruit and maintain the headcount budget for the branch
- To handle all the customers sourced by the CROs/LOs/FIOs
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business/ Financials (Only Relevant roles)
Ensure target is being achieved for the branches (SFB, CAT B, UBRB) under assigned cluster in unsecured loans, liabilities across assigned products
- Ensure business correspondence model runs smoothly by monitoring closely for all new BC.
- Ensure fee-based products like insurance remittance are served to the customers
- Monitor the business growth through area manager and focus on branches where there are more shortfalls in achieving target
- Ensure Portfolio quality is maintained and adherence of credit polices by the branches
- Undertake initiatives to control overdue such as timely review and recovery; ensure action plan in place and its followed by the branches
- Maintain and updates the supervisor on information about competitors in the assigned cluster
- Prepare & circulate the monthly dashboard consolidated for the assigned cluster along with all the branches
- Distribute and implement budget for every financial year for the branches in co-ordination with the CRMs & Area Managers
- Ensure the branches under assigned cluster is being profitable and ensure the Financial budget is being met
- Monitor the monthly performance evaluation of branches through the monthly CRM meeting put in immediate control measures for non-performing branches
- Develops a business plan for the areas to open new branches and ensures that Area Manager conducts area surveys and open branches in co-ordination with Admin & HR
- Responsible for recruitment, training & development, performance management, communication, staff interaction, motivation/mentoring & retention of the entire team under supervision in co-ordination with HR Department.
- Identify branch location as per branch opening strategy
- Implementation of products pertaining to Government business
- Management of all the reporting staff
Closure of Audit points and Maintaining threshold on Needs Improvement and unsatisfactory branches
Customer (Both Internal & External)
Builds customer interaction through meetings, functions & training programs and develop a customer-oriented organization
- Ensure customers are being educated about products like fixed deposit, recurring deposits, insurance & remittance during center meetings and customer forum meeting
- Ensure courteous customer service is being offered
- Ensure customer connect initiatives are being conducted in the branch vicinity
Co-ordinates with Social service team to extend microfinance plus programs for the customers.
Internal Process
Oversee and ensure efficiency in branches; Branch operations through adherence to TAT for various internal and customer end processes; drive utilization of alternate channels Business Correspondents
- Ensure compliance with banking guidelines, quality framework and audit requirements; ensure speedy resolution of any audit observations and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor & ensure control measure are being taken to minimize all expenses in the branches and associated CAT Bs/UBRB without compromising quality
- Resolves Hard bucket over dues with the assistance of Fraud Control
- Attend monthly meeting at each Area Manager level with CRMs to review the monthly performance for each CRS & branch and sets goals for the next month
- Review MIS, gets feed-back from CRS & customers every month and identify problems in branches, staff and centers. Sets tasks for CRMs, Area Managers to supervise the problem areas directly and report & manage staff & field discipline issues
- Ensures that Area Manager are managing the collection of each branch on a day-to-day basis and ensures the follow-up for over dues immediately, first through CRMs, then through Area Manager and then personally
To ensure adherence to minimum number of House visits and centre visits for the month
Innovation & Learning
Ensure the team is up to date on all the policy changes and revisions
- Conduct training programme for the direct reportees and other team members by the supervisors
- Ensure mid-year and annual appraisal are being done timely and fair ratings are given for the team members
- Monitor performance of staff against defined goals/metrics and take corrective action wherever required; undertake disciplinary and attendance monitoring for the team members
- Coordinate with state HR on people related matters; support branch activities to foster teamwork and continuously make Ujjivan a great place to work
- Ensure coordination between staff of different teams, to build a collaborative spirit and shared sense of purpose (which could also enable cross-sell and overall target achievement)
- Share feedback on policy and ensure the policy is in par with the industry standards.

Legal & Compliance
• Ensure your company is correctly listed as distributor/importer of record (IoR) in all transactions.- • Maintain records, contracts, and documentation per compliance norms.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in medical device distribution, regulatory services, or business development- • Strong understanding of Indian medtech distribution channels, regulatory environment, and import processes
- • Experience in independently managing clients or projects (end-to-end ownership is a must)
- • Excellent communication skills and confidence to handle client negotiations and distributor discussions
- • Pharma/Medtech/Regulatory background preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
