**Job Overview**
Distribution Sales Manager is responsible for driving the channel business by managing Global, regional and local channel partners effectively in collaboration with Channel BU.
**ROLE OBJECTIVE**
DSM in INDUSTRIAL BU is responsible for growing TE Industrial sales and increase market share through the global Channel Partners branch offices, regional Channel Partners and local distributors at the POP and POS level in the assigned market, by account management.
Strong and positive communication with the distributors is paramount in order to successfully train and support them so they can effectively sell the TE product. The job is to effectively negotiate with the relevant SV's reporting customer needs and requirements. Efficiently manage branch execution of the distributor's corporate plans, including managing all market business reviews, and driving engagement and accountability.
**Responsibilities:**
- Responsible & Accountable to drive revenue and revenue growth.
- Ensure that customer's challenges are solved by providing excellent customer experience that exceeds distributor's expectations
- Escalate root cause issues affecting "easy of doing business" with TE
- Recommend ways to improve the Distribution & TE's relationship with our constituency
- Implement processes and methods to eliminate barriers and inhibitors to success on a local level
- Understands market influencers and conditions.
- Drive/influence our current/future product positioning to gain or re-gain market share.
- Understands key components of a Competitive Landscape: customers' needs and how you can address those needs; how you compare against your competitors in meeting those needs.
- Drives brand awareness and positioning with our customers and distribution partners (Solutions and capabilities).

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
+ Experience in Sales. 10-14 Years. Channel sales/distribution sales preferred.
+ List the Needed skills, technical competencies, experience, must-haves etc
+ Self-driven and ability to work with different teams.
+ Understanding of the pre & Post sales process and dynamics.
+ Exposure to distribution sales activities. Preferred if he/she has worked in Distribution set up.
+ A commitment to excellent customer service.
+ Strong Skills to Drive Opportunity/leads through system like SFDC.
+ Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and Distributors.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
