Purpose/Function of the role:
Optimize inventory levels, ensuring timely FG supply, and maximize operational efficiency to meet customer demands by driving following deliverables:
1. Demand Planning
- Create Demand planning based on forecast received from all online and offline Sales Channels
- Drive forecast accuracy inside the organization coordinating with cross functional teams for resolving significant variances.
2. Supply Planning & New Product Development
- Lead Production Planning for existing products, new products, and product phase-outs
- Ensure Time to Market of New Product launches are met as per agreed timelines
- Roll out New product launches on time by optimizing the network
- Proactively callout risks in terms of stock out situation and mitigate business loss by collaborating with category and channels.
- Drive OTIF, Fill rate and OSA metrics and deliver as per business goals.
3. Inventory and Service Management
- Derive Inventory Management strategy (FG/RM/PM) across different locations (Plant/Warehouse/Stores) basis inventory models
- Optimize Inventory and still ensure Service Levels (Value and Quantity) are met as per standards defined
- Monitoring Inventory Health and ensuring no older stocks are present in the system.
- Work closely with Cross functional Teams (Manufacturing, Warehouse, Sales, Finance, Procurement) to ensure Inventory and Service norms are met
- Ensure minimum FSNE stock and PM SLOB by coordinating timely with different stakeholders.
Essential/preferred attributes:
- Experience: 1-4 years of experience in demand & supply planning/ capacity management
- Must be familiar with WMS/ERP/SAP-MM systems
- Analytical mind, self-motivated, detail oriented with good problem solving skills
- Well versed in Data handling (SAP, MIS, Excel, Dashboards)
- Excellent Cross functional team working skills
Education required:
- Engineering graduate, Masters preferred
- Experience of working in a Plant, Lean/Six sigma certification would be an added advantage.
