This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Mine Water team, to work across a number of civil and infrastructure projects. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering long-term stormwater wand water quality infrastructure planning strategies, policies & forward works projects.
- Conduct rainfall, flow and flood assessments, including modelling, mapping, flood mitigation design, water balance models, dam break assessment and risk assessments.
- Assist in a range of water management related studies and investigations from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
- Support and assist in developing existing Mine Water group capability in mine water mangement.
- Assist and/or undertake designs of hydraulic and other water management structures for mine sites.
About You
We are looking for someone that comes from a diverse water resources background, with experience in flood studies and hydrology modelling. Ideally you will have some experience working in a consulting environment, working on mining projects, as well as;
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Civil or Environmental.
- Experience with flood modelling software (e.g. HEC-RAS, TUFLOW etc) and Goldsim.
- Ability to demonstrate a resourceful approach to work, displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
- Technical writing skills with experience in proposal writing and technical reporting.

About You

- Bachelors Degree (Engineering).
- Chartered status (CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a consultancy environment.
