Our client, a leading event management company specializing in destination weddings and corporate functions, is looking for a creative and highly organized Event Manager. This role demands a blend of creativity, meticulous planning, and exceptional client management skills to deliver unforgettable events. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and management of various events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating unique experiences, and a strong network within the hospitality and vendor industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of events, including destination weddings and corporate functions.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
  • Develop event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and catering.
  • Manage on-site event execution, overseeing setup, staffing, and troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing regular updates.
  • Develop creative concepts and thematic elements for events.
  • Ensure all events comply with safety regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Post-event evaluation and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management, with a focus on weddings and corporate events.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software.
  • Creative flair and a passion for detail.
  • Ability to travel as required for destination events.

Job Description

  • Consult with clients to understand event goals, objectives, and requirements.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate prices with vendors to secure quality services within budget.
  • Source and select suitable venues an.d prepare PPT's of the same
  • Research and select appropriate venues while ensuring it meets the organiser's requirements. They also coordinate with the venue management team to arrange necessary facilities, such as parking, security and catering.
  • On the event day, event managers coordinate all aspects of the event, ensuring that it runs smoothly and according to plan. They manage the event team, oversee setting up the event, troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure that the event meets its objectives.
