Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic, TIG, MIG, and SAW welding machines as per production requirements.
• Set up welding machines, select appropriate parameters, and ensure smooth welding operations.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, process sheets, and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) accurately.
• Inspect welds and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain welding tools, fixtures, and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of experience in robotic, TIG, MIG, or SAW welding operations within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and parameter settings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Willingness to relocate to Kanchipuram.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Load raw materials/parts into laser weld cells and initiate machine start-up procedures.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain weld cell components, automation systems, and part feeders.
• Conduct job changeovers and basic equipment adjustments as per work instructions.
• Ensure seamless material flow and report any operational issues promptly.

Quality Assurance

• Perform in-process inspections and quality checks to maintain 100% defect-free output
• Record QA checks and maintain accurate production logs.
• Monitor camera software, sensors, and automation tools for functionality and errors.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Operate forklift and material handling equipment (after certification) safely.

Continuous Improvement

• Support troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.
