Job Overview:

offshore wind energy business is rapidly growing and that is why we are looking for Steel Structural Engineers to join our Offshore structures team . Secondary steel and topside design play a crucial role in offshore wind topside foundations, ensuring safe access, structural integrity, and long-term durability.

Skills & Qualification:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Marine Engineering or similar discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in design of steel structures and connections .
• A track record of applying your understanding of structural engineering principles, hand calculations/sketches, and fabrication/construction process to produce efficient designs inline with design standard requirements such as European, NORSOK, American, Indian or any other international standards.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of engineers to deliver work packages. Good communication skills in English with experience coordinating across disciplines and with stakeholders, both in person and remotely.
• Good knowledge in review of 3D CAD models in Tekla, Revit, Navisworks, or similar.
• Knowledge of advanced engineering concepts such as Fatigue, Dynamics, Non-Linear analyses etc. as well as experience in a software package such as e.g. Robot, STAAD-PRO, IDEA StatiCa, Abaqus or similar is advantageous

Role & Responsibility

• Design steel structures such as internal/external platforms, b oat landings, topsides, access arrangements, anode cages etc., and deliver inventive and effective designs aligned with project needs.
• Develop layout and general arrangement of secondary steel along with analytical models, calculations, reports and specifications aligned with latest health and safety standards for offshore wind foundation design.
• Lead a team of steel engineers and collaborate with BIM engineers, Project Managers, Discipline Leads and other stakeholders in conceptual, FEED and detailed design projects.
• Participating in knowledge transfer and contribute to technical proposals.

Job Title: Wind Turbine Installation Manager

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wind Turbine Installation Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of wind turbines in Gujarat, Maharashtra & Andhra Pradesh.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily on-site coordination and reporting
2. Progress reporting to Construction Manager/Site Manager
3. Management of cranes, installation teams/contractors, tools, commissioning spares, materials, and quality
4. Lead daily safety meetings with installation employees, crane crew, installation subcontractor, and commissioning teams
5. Maintain a positive relationship with clients, ensuring that the company is fulfilling its obligations under the contract and providing the best value to the client
6. Communicate daily with clients, supervisors, construction managers, local PMs, safety, and quality departments
7. Monitor and inspect installation and commissioning to confirm quality and conformance with manuals
8. Review and manage technical submittals (work instructions and work plans) to confirm conformance with manuals
9. Address issues that arise in a timely and cost-effective manner
10. Effective documentation of progress through reports (with detailed photos), NCRs (if any)
11. Check daily reports and document bad weather reports, installation delay events, and assess and document project abnormalities to respective parties
12. Determine scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines
13. Work with construction managers/project managers to show that all procurement, submittals, and work plans are in place to facilitate work as scheduled
14. Manage and lead the installation and commissioning team, ensuring that all responsibilities are met
15. Coach and develop project team members
16. Ensure contractors fully understand their contractual obligations and project requirements
17. Liaise with contractors to minimize contractor conflict and encourage synergy on multiple contractor work sites
18. Identify slow progress, inadequate quality or performance, possible future construction problems, and suggest possible solutions

Requirements:

• B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 12-15 years of experience in installation of wind turbines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

1. Project Requirements Management: Monthly provide initial requirement for each project in S&OP based on each project readiness status. Weekly provide initial production requirement for each project in MPS based on specific project requirements.

1. Project Delivery Management: Responsible for project delivery planning, collaborating with project managers, delivery representatives, and project logistics to develop the best delivery plan, identifying delivery risks during the project delivery execution process, and completing timely delivery tasks.

1. Order Fulfillment Coordination: Coordinate with the product configuration team, production planning, material planning, and logistics departments, coordinating the resolution of daily supply and demand issues, developing equipment shipment plans, and coordinating the resolution of temporary emergency issues in project delivery.

• Experience - 10-15 years in customer delivery planning, production planning, material planning and supply chain management; (preferred in the same industry)
