Your role will involve remote diagnostics, supporting field teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of maintenance strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Providing remote technical support and guidance to field technicians on complex repairs and procedures.
- Interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to effectively perform maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures during all operations.
- Documenting all maintenance activities, findings, and parts used in the company's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in turbine maintenance.
- Participating in the installation and commissioning of new wind turbines.
- Mentoring and training junior technicians, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OH&S standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a vocational degree or certification in Wind Turbine Technology, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair. A strong understanding of SCADA systems, PLC controls, and power conversion systems is essential. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to work independently and provide remote technical leadership are paramount. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation and a commitment to safety are crucial. - Perform site commissioning & engineering for Wind Turbine Pitch system, CMS, SCADA and PPC
