    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Security Solution Architect to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and compliant Workday security frameworks. This role plays a critical part in executing the security vision and strategy defined by the VP, Workday Security and Compliance Lead. The Solution Architect will focus on hands-on configuration, technical design, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure Workday security aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

    Reports to:  VP, Workday Security and Compliance Lead

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain scalable Workday security models across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Workday Adaptive, in alignment with the strategic direction set by the VP Workday Security and Compliance Lead

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday security frameworks, including domain and business process security policies, security groups, and user access management.

  • Support Workday security architecture reviews and contribute technical recommendations to enhance security posture.

  • Collaborate with HR, Global Cyber Security, Global Technology Services, and Compliance teams to define and refine access controls, user provisioning, and segregation of duties.

  • Execute security configuration changes and maintain documentation for architecture, policies, and procedures.

  • Conduct audits and risk assessments under the guidance of the Compliance Lead, ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

  • Participate in Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring security considerations are addressed.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Workday security professionals.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field (master’s preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in Workday, with at least 3 years focused on Workday security architecture.

  • Strong technical knowledge of Workday security frameworks and modules (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking).

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Pro in Security) are a plus.
