Job Description
The Assistant Manager - QC will provide expertise with all daily operations in quality control laboratories. In this role, you will support the buildup and maintenance of the rapid technology platform by providing reliable accurate analytical figures as well as perform validation and troubleshooting of new analytical methods to ensure they meet the requirements and deadlines.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Provide analytical support to Rapid Technology Application platform by releasing precise and accurate results and ensure scope of testing parameter is sufficient to build MPA module.
+ Provide ongoing technical support to stakeholders, investigate quality problems and deliver improvement actions with follow up.
+ Perform method validation and verification to roll out new testing method in the lab.
+ Document standard operating procedures, identify possible trends in testing results with data analysis software and provide input to team members to improve quality control system.
+ Organize and maintain accurate and pertinent data, including spreadsheets, graphs and reports.
+ Maintain systems and techniques for reporting data across functional areas.
+ Organize and participate ring tests with the goal to check and control methods and equipment.
+ Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ "Able to work independently, possess positive working attitude with high initiative level, and communicate effectively"
+ Necessary English reading capacity
+ Experience with chemical analysis (preferable)- oils and fats, starch, sweeteners, etc.
+ Knowledge in calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot various analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, AAS, ICP, NIR etc
+ Able to demonstrate sound understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), method validation and report writing
+ Minimum of Three years of working experience in the Food industry Lab

Job Description
Product (MS and HSD) secondary distribution planning for more than 50+ Retail network from assigened supply terminals.
Prepare Secondary Distribution Plan in coordination with Primary Distribution Planners, HO Logistics and FCA for product positioning at ROs ensuring all safety features and in total compliance with statutory rules and regulations while maximizing Retail Margin.
Job Description:
- Selection of Transport Vendors , New Transporter Induction, optimization and induction of adequate number of Tank trucks at the operating locations.
- Selection and induction of Tank trucks as per the organizations HSE guide lines .
- Compliance of all the statutory norms, performance tracking of each Transporter, addressing Terminal escalations, general engagement for contract performance and safety performance improvements.
- Day to day Scheduling,planning and execution of indents,Tolling of Vehicles as per FIFO and ensure no pending indents for the day.
- Handling all operational Issues for both the end (Terminal and RO) Viz: issues related to loading/decanatation, Issues enroute of the tank trucks ,Incidents and accidents,Diversion of tank trucks Off spec product handling,Address all QnQ and POD related issues and suitable escalation if required.
- Timely closing of all supplied material POD as per the plan.
- Routine Logistics MIS to be prepared and publish in time.
- Cordination with the sales team,transporters and terminals for smooth functioning and dispute resolution.
- Cordination with Fuel service for timely replacement of Locks/Seals as and when required.Also ensured the avalibility of sufficient inventerioes.
- Monitoring of VTS key safety parmeters,Actions to be initated as per TDG for achiving better control.
- Arranging daily tool Box talk/Monthely safety meeting/DDT training for Drivers and keep records.
- Monitoring and compliance of TT Satauatory /Safety parameters as per organizations HSE standard.
- Ensuring freight rate communication to transporters ,route or toll mapping and changes ,optimization on TT performance and running.
- Support to safety/HO logistics team on accident/Incident investigation.
- Monitor daily and monthely performance of transporters and tank trucks and share it with HO-Logistics for review and improvement.
- Web billing training to all new transporters/vendor.
- Ensure no dry outs/Suppressed Sales on account of Logistics/Scheduling.
- Process developments and implementation with respect to logistics Viz IMLA for milage equalization etc.
- Intervene and prepare contingency plan in case of transport disruption.
- Involve in to Audit process Viz LOD1/Internal/HSC/Third party and ensure for closures all the findings in time.
Customer Relationship Management
- Resolve customer complaints relating to logistics service levels.
- Develop a healthy relationship with all vendors and ensure timely payments.
- Ensuring timely resolution of issues between the company and vendors.
- Co#ordinate with Road transportation / Terminal Operations to ensure timely deliveries
- Co -ordinate with Technical Services to monitor quality of product being sourced.
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
Knowledge / understanding of Logistics operations and Scheduling principles
Analytical and Logical Thinking
Expertise and adequate knowledge of Vehicle Tracking systems
Knowledge of Leading and Lagging safety Indicators of Transportation safety.
Excellent Interpersonal & Coordination Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
BE, MBA (preferable)
07 - 10 Years Experience in Logistics/ Terminal Operations
Excellent knowledge of Transportation Safety and passion for ensuring the usage of technology to achieve the same.
