Job Description - Substation Energy Audit

Designation - Sub Station/ Auditor/Surveyor/Supervisor.

Experience - 1 to 2 Years

Salary - 15000 CTC to 25000 CTC / Month + Travel Allowance 4Rs./KM.

1-Survey of PSS.

2- line diagram and connectivity check and status of all incoming and outgoing.

3- Segregation of incomer and outgoing in terms of 33/11KV.

4-feeder working a long with CT/PT status and connectivity diagram.

5-MF (Multiplying factor)-check and correction.

6-substation incoming energy vs. outgoing energy, calculation and if associated losses.

7-identification of probable causes for the losses at PSS.

8-Connectivity and tagging of Feeders to DT at PSS level as per electrical network.

9-DT visits and respective DTCPR ratio verification

10-SLD preparation PSS- FEEDER- DT

11-Identification of switching/boundary point and associated tagging

12-Mapping of different type of Feeder/DT and its association with respective PSS (including new

incomers).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Lead execution of raising, strengthening, and blacktopping of embankments as per BIS Codes and latest High Flood Level (HFL) observations .
• Prepare, review, and monitor DPRs, BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis .
• Ensure compliance with hydraulic & hydrological study recommendations for flood protection and river training works.
• Technical Supervision
• Oversee earthwork (large-scale filling/compaction), stone revetment, geo-textile laying, pitching, aprons, and spurs .
• Ensure quality assurance & quality control (QA/QC) across embankment and road works.
• Monitor blacktopping/bituminous road works on long-length embankments (20–80 km scale).
• Stakeholder & Coordination
• Liaise with Water Resources Department, government authorities, consultants, and contractors .
• Manage community coordination and stakeholder engagement in flood-prone/local terrain areas.
• Handle documentation, progress reporting, and compliance with government funding agencies (WRD/PHED/NHAI, etc.).
• Team & Resource Management
• Lead multi-disciplinary site teams including civil engineers, surveyors, QA/QC engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.

Coordination of the IMS

(Integrated Management System) at its different documentation levels.

Coordination of

internal audits (Systems, Process, and Product) to ensure compliance with the IMS

(Integrated Management System) through the Annual IMS Program

Coordination of Cross Audits (PO).

Measurement of the performance of the Quality System.

Coordination of surveys requested by the

client(s).

Member of multidisciplinary teams for

continuous improvement

Follow up with certification agencies

to maintain compliance with the documents and/or commitments generated.

Conduct and document internal audits according to the

established schedule.

Confirm compliance and effectiveness of corrective actions

taken in previous audit discrepancies.
