  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipe manuals to ensure consistency.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering professional growth and building a strong pipeline for succession and leadership development.
  • Collaborate closely with the restaurant, bar, and marketing teams to create cohesive guest experiences and support promotional campaigns.
  • Work in partnership with management on menu engineering, cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting to optimise financial performance.
  • Plan and oversee special events, private dining experiences, and group bookings, ensuring flawless culinary execution.
  • Stay up to date with culinary trends, techniques, and market insights, continually evolving the resort’s offerings to stay relevant and distinctive.
  • Attend management meetings, contribute to strategic discussions, and prepare regular performance and cost analysis reports.
  • Ensure a positive, efficient, and safe working environment where teamwork, innovation, and accountability thrive.


Requirements:


• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel.

• Strong knowledge of Indian, Goan, and international cuisines.

• Exceptional leadership, team management, and organisational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency in food quality.

• Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and kitchen operations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Liaise with counterparts at other locations to reduce response time to customers who require high value/low usage components within a short lead times
  • Manages work orders from Master Production Schedule to various productions to ensure product availability in line with customer orders.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to improve planning processes, including Manufacturing, Customer Care, Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, and Product Line Management.
  • Also responsible for investigating any discrepancies, utilizing ERP systems, around accuracy of inventory (raw, WIP, finished goods), shipments, returns, and invoices
  • Responsible for investigating possible alternative uses of excess and slow moving stock in order to reduce and eliminate this specific area of inventory and optimize usage of material.   

Required Qualification for Consideration

Education : Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Work Experience :

    • 5–8 years of experience in planning and production within a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum 3 years of direct collaboration with vendors and planners at sister facilities to acquire parts and meet production needs—preferably in fiber cable components.
    • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems in material planning.

**General Summary** **:**
The Enterprise Data Specialist's (EDS) primary function at CommScope is to create and maintain product data and business operations data in CommScope's Enterprise business system (SAP CS1), including data entry and data maintenance. Product data-sets include SAP Material Masters, Bill-of-Materials, Engineering Change Masters, material revisions, product documents (e.g. manufacturing drawings, customer drawings, process sheets, specifications, etc.), product costing, purchasing records, sales views, etc. The role also requires coordinating engineering change requests, which drive the activity to create and change the data mentioned above. The role involves Engineering Change Administration (ECA) work activities.
**The EDS Function supports the following** **:**
+ **New Product Release** - Release of new product development, product extensions and Configurable material numbers.
+ **Product Change** - Change to existing products resulting from Mfg request, product cost reduction, design changes, etc. Coordinate 'deactivate and replace with' change activity.
+ **Product Obsolescence** - Deactivation of products.
+ **Global Manufacturing and Sales** - Coordinate production plant data and sales data required to operate a global manufacturing and sales operation.
**Job Responsibilities** **:**
+ Support the engineering change process (Change Requests / Change Orders).
+ Support users of these processes, answer user questions and provide training.
+ Review inputs provided by Requestors & Originators for completeness and correctness.
+ Coordinate the overall change process, and workflows needed for reviewing and approving changes.
+ Run and analyze SAP 'Where-Used' reports, and identify global factories impacted by product changes.
+ Interface with multiple cross-functional groups (i.e. Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Finance, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc.).
+ Coordinate product change effectivity dates, revisions, and material dispositions.
+ Create new Material Master data records in SAP. Enter and maintain data.
**Job Requirements & Experience Required** **:**
+ Engineering degree with 5+ years working knowledge of SAP business system, data fields, and transaction codes.
+ Experience coordinating change management processes (change requests/change orders) desired.
+ Working knowledge of ECRs and ECOs, and experience maintaining Part Numbers, Revision levels, BOMs, effectivity dates, and controlled drawings (desired).
+ Excellent computer skills with ability to navigate database systems and use MS Office programs.
+ Excellent communication skills with ability to provide direction and training (desired).
+ Ability to hold individuals accountable for following standard practices.
+ Demonstrated experience with organizing and maintaining work, managing multiple activities, and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
