Corneal Surgery:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of corneal diseases (e.g., keratoconus, corneal dystrophy, corneal ulcers, and infections).
- Perform corneal transplant surgeries, including Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK) and Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK).
- Conduct advanced corneal procedures like Descemet's Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSEK) and Descemet's Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK).
- Manage and treat corneal scarring and other corneal surface abnormalities.
Phacoemulsification (Phaco) Surgery:
- Perform phacoemulsification (phaco) cataract surgery, using advanced techniques to extract the clouded lens and replace it with an intraocular lens (IOL).
- Manage patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring optimal recovery and vision outcomes.
- Diagnose cataract progression and educate patients on their treatment options.
- Utilize femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (if applicable) for advanced precision during procedures.
Refractive Surgery:
- Perform refractive surgeries like LASIK, PRK, SMILE Pro, or ICL (implantable collamer lens) to correct refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
- Evaluate patients for refractive surgery, including performing pre-operative assessments such as corneal mapping, pachymetry, and visual acuity tests.
- Counsel patients on surgical options and expected outcomes.
- Manage post-operative care and monitor patients for any complications or side effects.
General Duties:
- Collaborate with the eye care team (ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians) to provide holistic care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including surgical outcomes, patient progress, and follow-up care.
- Participate in research, teaching, and training programs within the department.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques, technologies, and treatments in the field of cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards.

This position is responsible for accumulating financial data to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational reporting. In this role applicant will work as a member of the plant FP&A team to assist in the maintenance of plant financial systems. The ideal candidate will work with the FP&A team to execute both transactional and entry level analytical tasks that promote continuous improvement at the plant.
What you'll do:
- Data entry into financial systems such as accounts payable, purchasing or general ledger to generate management reporting or information used in the preparation of financial statements. Maintain financial accuracy through controls and auditing processes.
- Communicate with vendors and internal partners, answering questions, explaining processes or performing analysis as requested.
- Use Oracle reports and Discoverer queries to analyze data for reasonableness, trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Serve as an active member of operations finance supporting and participating in cross-functional teams within the technical accounting group.
- Promote a culture that focuses on continuous improvement. Work with cross functional teams to improve processes at the plant and FP&A.
- Be able to be the primary back up for other processes within the Plant FP&A group.
- Perform administrative functions for finance as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership group.
What you need to succeed:
- 3-5 years' experience in Accounting or Finance
- Bachelor's Degree with MBA in finance/ ICWA
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
- Keen attention-to-detail and data validation skills, capable of multi-tasking.
- Offer continuous improvement ideas, team player mentality, strong process and communication skills
- Previous exposure to cost accounting preferred but not required. Proficiency with software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Excellent computer skills. Must pass skill tests.
- Familiarity with word-processing, graphics, flowcharts or other software is desirable.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
