The team
Hitachi Digital is a leader in digital transformation, leveraging advanced AI technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across various operational companies (OpCos) and departments. We are currently seeking an expert Lead AI Engineer to spearhead our new AI initiatives and enhance our existing Agentic AI capabilities, while also building new AI products and refining current models to meet the evolving needs of our business.
The role
In this role you will lead the design, development, and implementation of AI models and algorithms using Agentic AI and Agent Workspace for Google Gemini and EMa.AI. You will drive new AI initiatives across different OpCos and departments, ensuring seamless integration and functionality and enhance and refine existing Agentic AI capabilities to improve performance and scalability.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies. Additional tasks in the role include optimization of AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy, as well as troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to AI systems and applications.
You will also document AI development processes, methodologies, and best practices, mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members. Provide strategic direction and leadership in AI technology adoption and innovation.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in AI model development, with a focus on Agentic AI and Agent Workspace for Google Gemini and EMa.AI.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Primary experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS and Azure is a plus.
- Experience with GPU-based AI model development is a plus.
- Extensive experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) is required.
- Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and natural language processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for promoting D2L Products and Services, establishing customer relationships, and providing qualified, motivated leads to the Sales teams. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the company's solutions, competition, and a keen interest in the eLearning industry. The primary market focus is the Higher Education sector in India.
We are looking for an energetic, polished individual with exceptional communication skills and a talent for relationship building. The successful candidate will gain expertise in accurately capturing and qualifying leads, effectively managing a sales pipeline, and achieving quarterly revenue targets.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Responsible for exceeding objectives within your assigned territory
- Able to understand and deliver D2L's unique value proposition and create solution vision with prospects
- Actively participate in outbound calling campaigns to generate sales opportunities
- Accurately capture and qualify leads gathered from tradeshows, webinars, inbound calls, and other marketing initiatives
