**Key Responsibilities:**
**Recruitment & Onboarding**
+ Assist in the recruitment process, manage recruitment of direct labor and agency workers as per the requirements.
+ Conduct joining formalities and coordinate onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly to become productive swiftly.
**Time & Leave Administration**
+ Administer biometric attendance systems and resolve discrepancies.
+ Maintain leave records and ensure accurate payroll inputs.
**Contract labor & Compliance**
+ Support site admin in end-to-end contract labor management, including deployment, documentation, and coordination with contractors for recruitment.
+ Facilitate monthly statutory audits with compliance partners for all contractors.
+ Maintain up-to-date records of labor licenses, ESI, PF, and other statutory documents.
**Site Statutory Compliance**
+ Work closely with the compliance partner to schedule, facilitate monthly audits and share required documents and data for timely audit completion.

+ Ensure that the compliance partner is maintaining statutory registers and records as per applicable labor laws and digitize and archive compliance records for easy retrieval during audits.

+ Ensure all HR-related documentation (e.g., training records, statutory registers, contract labor files) is audit-ready.

**HRIS and Data Management**

+ Support supervisors in performance appraisal processes.

**Key Qualifications & Skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
+ **4-7 years of proven experience** as an HR Generalist in vendor-managed sites, Tier 2 supplier ecosystem, or plant HR admin setups.
+ Strong execution skills with the ability to implement plans effectively.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Knowledge of labor laws, health & safety regulations, and HR best practices.

The Plant Launch DGM will be responsible for coordinating the overall launch of the gigafactory, ensuring that the product is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the plant’s operations readiness, including operator hiring and training, process development, system execution, equipment prove-out, and ensuring proper documentation and SOPs are in place. RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Development and Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring the right mix of expertise across various workstreams.
- Collaborate with the operations team to oversee the recruitment, training, and development of plant staff, ensuring they are ready to execute the plant’s operations at full scale.
Plant Commissioning and Readiness:
- Oversee installation and commissioning of all equipment and systems.

Identify and mitigate potential risks during the launch process. Proactively resolve any challenges or obstacles that arise during commissioning or initial operations.
Collaboration with Key Stakeholders:

Act as the key liaison(conduit) between the global process engineering team and the operations team to ensure their needs are integrated into the launch plan.

- Designing & implementing fire safety system & monitoring, controlling & deploying fire personnel round the clock.
- To drive preventive maintenance programs of fire & safety equipment.
- Designing & deploying traffic management & its control to prevent accidents.
- Monitor safety progress against goals & proactively implement initiatives that will improve safety performance.
- Direct and/or conduct prompt investigations of safety related incidents including root-cause analysis. Serve as contact person between regulatory agencies & operations as
- required.
- Track & analyze incidents & determine corrective actions to mitigate like incidents from occurring in the future. Develop & implement initiatives based on information gathered.
- Manage proactive Behavior based Safety Program with direct line responsibility to the corporate safety program.
- Demonstrated ability to form meaningful partnerships with various business leaders.
