We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Business Process Management Analyst to join our Wealth Management Data Governance team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- This is a unique opportunity to join Data Governance team and help be a pivotal part of Wealth Managements data transformation. The team was formed to establish robust data management and governance practices as well develop a data hub that makes information accessible and actionable to our front-line business partners.
- The individual in this role will have the opportunity to learn industry best practices for data management, data quality, refine their data wrangling skills, learn more about the Wealth Management and serve up data driven insights to our business partners.
- One of the team’s primary objectives is to implement a collaborative data platform for a more streamlined way of moving, transforming, analyzing, and communicating information. This will require the analyst to build relationships with key stakeholders, to work with internal clients to understand their data needs, and to partner with IT to deliver data solutions.
- A key tool for the team is Collibra, CDQ and DataIku. Collibra, CDQ and Dataiku provides most of the functions needed to perform the role. i.e. connections to databases, IDE functionality, SQL functions, Jupyter notebooks. SQL software is needed to connect to certain data bases.
- Deliver value and deliver value frequently
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in WM Businesses and IT
- Translates complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences
- Prepares ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders
- Build BI and machine learning prototypes and derive actionable insights for the Businesses
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- B Tech/BE/BS Degree (stats, math, engineering degrees are a plus)
- 5+ years of Experience working in Data Quality and Data Management
- 3+ years of experience with Collibra, CDQ
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- Good knowledge on Snowflake
- Passion for helping others succeed
- Passion for learning new skills
- Self-starter
- Dataiku experience is good to have
- Experience in financial industry is preferred
- Good knowledge of Excel

About the Role
As a GSS exploration geophysicist, you will have the opportunity to support activity across a diverse set of locations and projects across the global portfolio. In your role, you will bring forward exploration and appraisal opportunities that add value to bp. You will be responsible for characterizing the subsurface, undertaking regional basin evaluation, developing prospect and lead inventories and maturing prospects for exploration assessment and decision.
You will be deployed into a multi-disciplinary squad to provide technical skills in geophysics and subsurface integration, along with thorough insight into subsurface uncertainty and risk. You will develop and provide technical skills in seismic interpretation and subsurface integration. There are broadening opportunities, with the potential to work different fields/basins in a variety of activities such as exploration prospect identification, integrated subsurface description, development planning and well planning for activity across bp’s global oil, gas and low carbon portfolio.
What will you deliver
As an individual technical contributor, you will work closely with other subsurface disciplines and other business units such as the Global Wells organisation.
Deliver integrated geological and geophysical descriptions and evaluations at regional, basin, play fairway, and prospect levels.
Deliver prospect and lead inventories. Mature selected opportunities into detailed integrated prospect descriptions including assured, risked volumetric assessments
Support well planning and well operations. Integrate post well results into subsurface models and undertake post-well evaluations.
Recommend technical studies and additional data requests, including seismic acquisition and processing work.
Apply your technical and business skills to develop appropriate subsurface scenarios, to characterise and communicate subsurface uncertainties and use this knowledge to plan and deliver ‘fit for purpose’ technical products.
Your ability to clearly communicate subsurface uncertainty to colleagues and business leaders will enable the development of appropriate risk management and mitigation plans.

Your line manager will be the Geophysics Discipline Leader supporting the TSI Unit within GSS.
You will be based in Pune, India, but may be deployed remotely into a multinational, integrated subsurface delivery ‘squad’ where day-to-day activities/deliverables will be prioritised by the squad leader. These GSS squads typically consist of 5-10 multi-disciplinary technical members in several locations and are deployed based on global subsurface business prioritisation.
You will also work in close collaboration with other subsurface teams from locations your squad is supporting, as well as with global subsurface technical specialists and subject matter experts.

- Experience and working knowledge of HYSYS and other simulation software, including development of the heat and material balance of a system

The Mechanical Engineer serves as the primary point of contact for technical support of their assigned Asset(s). This includes troubleshooting emerging equipment issues and designing solutions for equipment repairs. The ME will collaborate with their asset team (maintenance and operations) and other engineering disciplines to support their area’s mechanical integrity and reliability needs.

Design permanent and temporary repair solutions for equipment (piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.) based on their appropriate industry standards and codes

Applies reliability principles in making decisions for equipment repairs
Responsible for engineering deliverables such as:
Piping and pressure vessel design
Equipment fitness for service assessments
Field support for maintenance and operational troubleshooting
Supporting personal and process safety, including management of change
Support Asset maintenance to ensure accuracy in preventative maintenance planning and sparing strategies
Understand Asset equipment and processes to properly monitor unit health
Provide mechanical engineering and integrity input for Asset outages and Turnarounds

IntentThe Cathodic Protection Engineer is accountable for providing CP engineering expertise in the service of the Production and Refinery integrity teams and projects teams in designing, operating and maintaining CP systems for the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The role will support bothy onshore and offshore operations.
Responsibilities- Provide CP engineering expertise to production and refinery operations teams across P&O (production & operations) (Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, Projects Ops, Turnarounds) to support operating CP systems on equipment.
- Support projects teams with the design of CP systems for new build or facility modifications.
- Support operations with interpreting CP monitoring data, troubleshooting systems and interference problems to ensure protection.
- Provide CP specialist input to supervising plans and CP surveys.
- Provide input to CP design standards.
- Provide visible safety leadership in accordance with bp safety leadership principles, lifesaving rules and process safety fundamentals to model desired safety behaviors
- Record relevant learning in shared learning systems, incorporate into local activities, specifications/ practices/ procedures and raise high priority lessons
- Support performance management through implementation, measurement, and analysis of relevant KPI’s to drive continuous improvement.

Have overseen procurement of static mechanical packages and equipment and have demonstratable experience providing oversight, verification and assurance activities with EPC contractors as well as vendors and suppliers
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals across levels
Track record of improving safety and reliability at an industrial facility, preferably oil/gas/petrochemical processing through engagement and influence
Pragmatic decision maker, willing to challenge and ensure engineering value is delivered
Good to have experiences/skills:
Experience in an operational environment, brownfield modifications, equipment skid packages design, front end engineering, scoping, technical evaluation
Experience of working with remote team and collaborative approach to delivery
Proven track record in cross-functional engineering improvements
Accomplished in risk, process safety and contractor performance management
Consistently delivers results under pressure
Works proactively, and has demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and possesses good organization, facilitation and group coordination skills
