Role Description

HCM Business Advisory supports HR strategies and initiatives across the bank. It is also a key enabler of effective delivery of the banks HR strategy through the provision of expert knowledge and support on HR policies, programmes, processes, people strategy and ensures consistent application of HR best practice.

On an advisory level work typically includes:

  • Responsibility for the delivery of HR Services.
  • Working with stakeholders in implementing people agenda initiatives, providing advice to employees and managers on people topics, providing guidance on HR policies and processes (incl. ensuring compliance) and overall responsibility for lifecycle measures.
  • Working with the business and specialist HR product areas to achieve bank-wide human capital management goals. Examples may include but are not limited to; restructuring, diversity and talent acquisition and retention initiatives, supporting performance management activity, leadership capabilities, management of employee relations cases and consequence management and key partner in the year-end compensation and promotion process.

On a business partnering level work typically includes:

  • Responsibility and accountability for delivering the HR people strategy in support of the overall business strategy.
  • Coaching senior managers in global/regional or divisional teams in modelling required leadership behaviors and conforming to the bank's standard policies and processes.
  • Partnering with the heads of business to ensure sound people decisions are undertaken.
  • Supporting and driving organizational change and restructuring initiatives and work with respective stakeholders
  • Partnering with the business to define and translate business needs into human capital strategy.

Your key responsibilities

  • Handling employee, former employees, HR Advisor, Internal HR solutions team queries on HR products via email and telephone for employees across APAC locations/UKUS
  • Good knowledge of Applications like Workday, Service Now, Oracle PeopleSoft
  • Thorough knowledge of policy queries like PF, UAN & Flexi basket.
  • Responsible for providing resolution to all first level queries.
  • Queries handled should to meet 100% quality.
  • Work to established standards on SLA & accuracy standards to ensure completion of transactions, escalation to appropriate teams as necessary and follow-ups to close pending issues.
  • Should have the right attitude towards customer handling.

Responsibilities

As part of AI Business Advisory Team, you will be expected to:


• Structure high value business problems and design solutions for the CPG and retail industry by combining best aspects of machine intelligence and rich domain experience.


• Provide thought leadership to clients at the business head level and help them sharpen their business strategy in developing & implementing AI/GenAI solutions and evangelize for last mile adoption.


• Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase our expertise and position us as a thought leader.


• Develop Proof of Concepts working with client stakeholders and mapping their business pain points and problems to AI needs and leveraging relevant tools and frameworks.


• Understand and manage the expectations from the engagements to build, deepen and broaden client relationship. Bring alignment between customer's technologists and business leads; help them to explore the art of the possible with generative AI and machine learning, and to develop a roadmap to deliver business value in the most effective way.


• Improvise on new and innovative AI solutions to drive its adoption to the market.


• Own end to end delivery of, a) large & complex Analytics & AI led transformation programs, b) small and nimble business insights initiatives to realize quick gains.

Desired Skills & Experience


• At least 8 years of experience working in the analytics industry in CPG & Retail domain and having good understanding of key industry challenges and Data complexities


• Should have experience launching technically complex programs, projects, or related work that include the following: big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in CPG & Retain domain.


• Strong analytical thinking and hands-on experience in analytics problem solving.


• In-depth understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics. Formal Degree/Certification in AI/ML is an added advantage.


• Experience with writing communications such as strategy papers or white papers.


• Participated in the product management and marketing lifecycles (directly or indirectly)


• A confident communicator with an executive presence, able to clearly explain the program to non-technical and technical audiences.


• Good to have experience of with cloud- based development and deployment of solutions across one of AWS, GCP or Azure.


• Should have hired and nurtured talent and grow them in market facing specialists and consultants. Should have built a community of practice on AI.
