Reporting to Applied Science Manager, this exciting role involves bridging the gap between Applied Scientists and Product teams - developing, deploying, and scaling ML and LLM-based systems as part of Diligent’s AI platform services to accelerate AI adoption across Diligent's diverse product suite.

• Document and communicate your approach, progress, and results to the broader team and to other development teams.

Required experience/skills:

• 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong ability to develop highly readable and well-tested code that adheres to SOLID principles.
• Proven proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices preferably in AWS (or experience with other major cloud providers).
• Ability to contribute to a high-performing agile team, and to product innovation.
• Keen to improve processes and share knowledge across the team.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on AWS CDK experience
• Hands-on experience with LLMs including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, RAG, agentic solutions or MCP servers.
• Experience with full AI-based solution lifecycle.

Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (Automated Test Equipment)

Key Skills

1. Strong understanding of Test & Measurement hardware (e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, power supply, function generators, etc)
2. Experience with instrument communication protocols (e.g., GPIB, SCPI, USBTMC, VISA, LXI, Serial, TCP/IP)
3. Familiarity with signal processing, control systems, and data acquisition.
4. Hands-on experience in ATE programming using C#/LabVIEW/Python.
5. Software testing, Software design documentation
6. Familiar with SDLC
7. Knowledge of ATE system engineering, panel building and electrical assembly will be an added advantage
8. Strong communication skills: Ability to handle customer communications and represent the companys interests.
