Summary: As a Program/Project Management Lead, you will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of a program or project to achieve desired business outcomes. Your typical day will involve defining project scope, monitoring the execution of deliverables, and communicating effectively across multiple stakeholders to manage expectations, address issues, and ensure successful outcomes. You will engage with various teams to facilitate collaboration and drive project success, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with strategic goals and objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate regular project meetings to ensure alignment and address any emerging challenges. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support transparency and accountability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Assist in the development of detailed project plans, resource allocation, and milestone definition in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Task Tracking & Coordination: Monitor and track tasks assigned to various teams including developers, QA, and business analysts using Salesforce project management modules or integrated tools; conduct daily scrum meetings to review progress and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Status Reporting & Dashboard Management: Prepare and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project tracking sheets, and generate detailed status reports and dashboards within Salesforce for senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues with actionable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, organize regular project update meetings, and manage expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Implement best practices to enhance project management processes, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date project documentation including charters, schedules, meeting notes, and knowledge repositories within Salesforce or connected systems.
  • Vendor & Resource Coordination: Coordinate with multiple vendors and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Project Control: Ensure projects are progressing within scope, timeline, and budget while addressing deviations proactively.
  • Salesforce Ecosystem Management (Optional): Oversee and optimize workflows, reports, and dashboards within Salesforce to support project lifecycle and team collaboration.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Communication and Electronics or relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in project management, preferably with PMO experience.
  • Proven experience in managing projects using Salesforce project management tools and CRM.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies and Scrum Master certification preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel (expert-level), MS PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Power BI or Salesforce Reports & Dashboards for analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce workflows, reports, dashboards, and integration capabilities is a plus.
  • Experience in vendor management and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Description:

  • PL (Project Leads) acts as a trusted advisor with a strong customer focus in the onboarding / migration into SAP GCE. PL supports ECS customer migration into the Private Cloud from a project and program perspective, while advocating for the customer and bringing the power of GCE to assure a smooth transition with the landscape and business delivery.
  • PL will work as a team with the GCE and Delivery internally and external parties as Hyperscalers and GSSP to serve and delight our customers, by providing quality services to satisfy their needs and coordinating infrastructure and application complexities throughout their onboarding cycle.
  • Main point of contact between ECS & Customer stakeholders during onboarding phase for both Greenfield & Brownfield (migration) projects


The main tasks of the PLs are:

Project initiation : managing the sales to deliver (S2D) handover quality gate to initiate new tasks

Project planning: coordinating with consulting, and the customer teams to manage the deliverables and project

Execution : communication and with all of the teams through the build and migration lifecycles

Closing: documenting and clearing open issues; project completion

  • The Project Lead (PL) is end-to-end responsible for the Project Management of a Release Upgrade Project.
  • Plans the technical upgrade project on a detailed basis.
  • Project- and phase-signoffs from customer side.
  • Ensure that customer and internal service requests are created in time and align additional communication if further ECS teams are involved.
  • Organizes and conducts regular meetings:
  • Standup meetings, including project communication.
  • Including presenting and ongoing re-alignment of the plan
  • Ensure to communicate with and between all team members and stakeholders involved in the technical upgrade project to ensure everyone is kept up to date.
  • Ensure to manage overall progress and status of the technical upgrade.
  • Manage activity tracking of current phases and prepare subsequent phases.
  • Plan and prepare PROD upgrade including schedule, weekend work and standby, fallback plan, business downtime preparation and alignment with customer.
  • Coordinate the PROD upgrade with relevant parties from customer and SAP ECS side
