Associate Engineer II - SAP - Tester

Introduction:

Within ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products CIO, the department “Digital & IT CMO” (D&IT CMO) is an IT organization with proximity with Flat commercial business, which is responsible for the implementation of Business Processes and the interface management between operational Business stakeholders and IT providers. D&IT CMO main stakeholders are the Business owners of the different CMO processes, the end users (Sales Agencies & Order Management Platforms), Supply Chain, Industrial Clusters and mills within the Flat Europe scope.

What does the job entail?

The test manager will be integrated within the “Order to Delivery” Domain managing quality of different Business processes (Order entry automation, Schedule business, Order & finished goods follow-up, EDI to customer, …) through different IT systems based on multiple technologies.

For start he/she will be dedicated to the processes implemented in our SAP ERP environment, later on he/she will have to support re-orientation of current solution.

His / her main missions are:

Ensure the quality and reliability of the SAP ERP system through comprehensive testing. This includes managing both manual and automated tests using the Worksoft tool. The test manager will collaborate closely with various teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that the system meets business requirements and operates smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Worksoft and/or other tools in future
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on SAP ERP modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test plans.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to the project team and management.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

The primary function of the Penetration Tester in the CST team is to continually review the customers’ defined scope for vulnerabilities, identify additional targets that should be included in the scope, and report these to the client in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner. Essential Roles & Responsibilities

The Continuous Security Testing service is a consultant led vulnerability identification and verification service which makes use of automated vulnerability scanning along with significant manual testing against a broad scope in a continuing engagement. The purpose of the service is to continually monitor a customer’s external attack surface for new vulnerabilities, changes in the scope of the attack surface, and proactively inform customers of discovered issues along with recommended remediation;
with the overall aim ofreducing the lifetime of each vulnerability. Manual testing includes identification of issues which automation alone could not identify, exploitation of all issues, often chaining multiple findings together in order to determine the true impact of vulnerabilities for the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual identification and exploitation of vulnerabilities
• Manual verification and exploitation of scanner findings
• Detailed analysis of issues identified and exposure for the customer including proof of concept, reproduction steps, and recommended remediation
• Communication of findings to the customer in a detailed, accurate and manageable manner both orally and through written vulnerability/scope notifications and periodic summaries
• Continual professional development to maintain and develop knowledge and technical competencies
• Maintain professional technical qualifications to demonstrate competency to our clients
• Undertaking projects and support tasks as appropriate to the role

Progression:

During mentoring and experience progression, the Associate Penetration Tester will be tasked with:

• Pre-engagement activities including scoping of assessments and statements of work and determining customer requirements and restrictions
• Onboarding customers into the service including configuration of continual scanning and liaising with customer to resolve issues which may reduce the effectiveness of scanning
• Monitoring of the customers’ external perimeter for changes, and proactive discovery of new targets to include within the customer’s scope

Essential Technical

Core computing skills including but not limited to:

• Networking fundamentals – understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMB, SMTP and relevant tools
• Microsoft Windows and Office proficiency along with proficiency in one or more Linux distributions

Good knowledge of web application technologies and security assessment including but not limited to:

• REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML and JSON formats
• Vulnerability identification and exploitation (not limited to OWASP Top 10)
• Experience with common assessment tools such as MITM proxies (e.G. Burp Suite Pro) and SQLMap
• Good knowledge of internal and external infrastructure technologies and security assessment including but not limited to:

Identification and exploitation of misconfigurations or known vulnerabilities in common enterprise infrastructure and services (Windows Domains, Linux servers, virtualisation, databases, switches/routers, etc)

• Windows and Linux Sandbox/Desktop Breakout

Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python (preferred), Ruby, PowerShell, or Bash, for the development of new, or editing existing, tools

VAIML Solution, Heera’s project has the following job description:

- The team attempts to run a new unsupported model on VAIML.

- In many cases, it does not execute successfully due to a lack of support for some operators or other technical reasons.

- The team performs debugging to identify the issues.

- The team documents the requirements in Jira for the VAIML development team to implement the missing operators or make other technical adjustments to enable the model to run.

- Required skill set is Python, Linux, knowledge of AI/ ML

Ryzen AI Support, Uday's project involves:

- Implementing Ryzen AI in various vendor laptops (Asus, Lenovo…) for end users to run standard and proprietary AI models.

- Testing and documenting how to run models on Ryzen AI systems for end users.

- Resolving tickets submitted by users facing issues with running models on Ryzen AI.

- Work with end users to understand and fix problems.

- Update documentation if it contains errors.

- Collaborate with the dev team to fix product bugs.

- Required skill set is Python, Linux, Windows, knowledge of AI/ ML

Web QA/BA Automation tester

Location: Hyderabad - onsite

• 5-6+years of experience as a Manual and Automation Test Engineer

• Experience in Financial domain and working knowledge of Core Banking Application

• Experience in gathering and maintaining the business requirements for the new enhancements and change requests

• Create and execute manual and automated tests based on feature enhancements for Web application and Mobile app.

• Experience in testing the Mobile App on iOS and Android platforms

• Well-versed with Mobile app testing tool like Browser Stack

• Experience in performing the function and regression testing for Web and Mobile App.

• Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate the end to end testing scenarios

• Experience in Web/Mobile App security and performance testing, would be a plus
