ProArch is seeking an experienced Automation Architect to join our team and drive the automation strategy for our organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks and strategies to enhance the quality and efficiency of our software testing processes. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to promote best practices in test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to design a comprehensive automation plan that spans the web, mobile, API, data, and microservice layers.
- Create modular, scalable, and reusable testing frameworks that can be adapted to different technology stacks.
- Develop automation standards and quality guidelines to ensure consistency across teams.
- Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and AI solutions to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Define the automation roadmap and DevOps objectives for continuous delivery.
- Build testing frameworks from the scratch on the lines of keyword, data and hybrid based.
- Implement shift testing by introducing automation at the earliest stage of the software lifecycle including UI, API, mobile and database.
- Automate in CI and CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and the GitHub Actions.
- Integrate automation suites with defect management, reporting and analytic dashboards for real-time visibility.
- Lead POCs to evaluate frameworks, tools and process improvements
- Mentor and train automation engineers and promote a Centre of Excellence in TCoE.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience into Automation testing.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, RestSharp and Ranorex or Tosca.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, C# or TypeScript (expert level).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions and GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket and GitHub).
- Proficient in building frameworks from scratch such as BDD (Cucumber/Behave), POM, TestNG, JUnit and PyTest
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Must have experience in API & Data Testing: Postman, Swagger, GraphQL and ETL/Database automation.
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams on automation best practices and frameworks.
- Should have exposure into Cloud & Virtualization: AWS, Azure and Docker.
- Strong analytical skills using tools such as Allure, Extent Reports and custom dashboards and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills:
- Excellent English Communication Skills
- Must have UFT, Playwright, or Testim Experience, no exceptions.
- 8+ years in automation, with hands-on experience with automation framework design.
- 3+ years Software Development Experience
- Strong expertise in data-driven testing, including test data generation and API handling.
- Proven experience with eCommerce and customer-facing platforms.
- Familiarity with TestOps, CLI integration, and test grouping for optimal execution.
