- Integrate and program industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB) into automated production lines.
- Lead automation projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Develop technical specifications, control strategies, and functional design documents.
- Conduct root cause analysis for automation system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize existing automation systems for improved performance, efficiency, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and production staff.
- Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance and operations personnel on automation systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations in all automation designs and implementations.
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for complex automation issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial automation engineering.
- Proficiency in programming major PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Siemens S7).
- Experience with SCADA/HMI software (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition).
- Hands-on experience with industrial robotics programming and integration.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control system architecture, and network protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
- Experience with motion control and servo systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
