Cloud Engineer

Job responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor cost optimization strategies to achieve savings across AWS infrastructure.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities through effective patch management and system hardening.
• Provide AWS architecture recommendations aligned with best practices to support both project and production requirements.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize firewall configurations to safeguard infrastructure.

• Conduct Disaster Recovery testing to validate business continuity plans.
• Provide hands-on cloud infrastructure support during deployments and production releases.
• Ensure Infra audit requirements are addressed, both for internal and BSP audits.
• On call rotation to provide infra support during high severity incidents.

Educational and Professional Certification:

• Degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Certifications Desired in Cloud (AWS Sysops, AWS Devops, AWS Architect Associate / Professional, AWS Security Specialty, CKA).

Technical Skills:

Extensive knowledge in Kubernetes, Linux and Windows Administration.

Extensive knowledge in AWS Cloud Engineering (Compute, Network, Database and Security).

Role & responsibilities:

• Strong experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architectures, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and others.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins.
