We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect and Software Architecture Specialist for a contract-based engagement to review, analyze, optimize, and implement fixes for our existing software architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS cloud services, system design, and performance optimization with a focus on improving the overall performance of our SAAS application through architectural enhancements and comprehensive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Review & Assessment

• Conduct comprehensive audit of existing software architecture and AWS infrastructure
• Analyze current system performance, bottlenecks, and scalability limitations
• Review database design, application architecture, and cloud resource utilization
• Assess security, compliance, and operational readiness of current systems
• Identify technical debt and areas requiring immediate attention
• Review and identify issues in microservices architecture and fix them

AWS Cloud Optimization

• Design and implement scalable, secure AWS cloud architectures using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM
• Optimize AWS resource allocation and cost efficiency
• Study existing auto-scaling, load balancing, and high-availability solutions
• Leverage AWS Well-Architected Framework principles for system optimization

Issue Identification & Root Cause Analysis

• Systematically identify and fix performance, scalability, and architectural issues
• Perform root cause analysis to distinguish between symptoms and underlying problems and fix them
• Document and categorize issues by priority, impact, and complexity
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand issue costs and risks

System Design & Architecture Implementation

• Create detailed architectural diagrams using C4 model methodology
• Implement improved system architecture based on identified issues and requirements
• Design system context, container, component, and code-level diagrams
• Execute migration strategies and modernization initiatives
• Deliver working solutions that align architectural improvements with business objectives

Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of software development and architecture experience
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification required
• Proven track record of implementing architectural fixes and performance improvements
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture patterns
• Proficiency in C4 modelling for software architecture visualization

Pay: ₹1, ₹2,000.00 per hour
