Job Purpose:

  • To plan, organise and deliver a differentiated level of technical service to customers and target prospects consistent with the GME technical offer and in support of sector strategies. 
  • Coordinates the activities of a technical services team, under the guidance of the Regional/Area Technical Services Manager, in order to effectively deliver a differentiated level of technical service to GME.
  • Supports the technical and sales teams on SmartGains methodology and measurement.
  • Consultant to Castrol’s high value customers as the one stop shop for their complex lubricant questions and applications needs.
  • Providing SmartGains insights and opportunities from Used oil analysis results. 
  • Skillful knowledge of the relevant technical services offers within the TSE’s remit of Marine or Energy, and aligned with any specialization in the areas of New builds, SP&D & Subsea, or any combination of those as defined by the Regional Technical Services Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and maintain up to date a Schedule of recommended lubricants for customer assets using available online tools (GST) in order to establish optimised machinery lubricant portfolio. Make appropriate recommendations regarding the use of products in Shipping or Oil & Gas applications aligned with Marine and Energy Technical Databases.  Ensure that all product and service offers are appropriate for the application.
  • Responding to customers’ (and sales/customer service) technical queries on product, application, operational conditions and ensure customer satisfaction.  Provide support for technical claims and complaints.
  • Conduct basic technical solving. (in close co-operation with Product Managers) and make appropriate recommendations for the benefit of the customer, and our company's image and reputation.
  • Administer a central used oil analysis program for those assets where required and utilize the data to create SmartGains recommendations directly with customer and account manager.   
  • Establish and maintain strong technical relationships with customers, key regional OEMs, and stakeholders within the wider BP group (BP Exploration & Production, Shipping) and the Lubricants organization.
  • Clearly demonstrate the differentiated value of the GME offer (products and services) to customers and target prospects through the SmartGains framework.
  • Accountable to generate and communicate sales leads to the sales and business development functions through demonstrating existing strong technical relationships, bringing value playback and trade-up opportunities from SmartGains insights. Supporting sales teams in developing clear understanding technical needs and potential differentiation for target prospects. 
  • Coordinating and conducting visit within HSSE guidelines and after appropriate training to ships, offshore assets, and yards for inspection, lubrication surveys, change-over visits etc.  
  • Relevant central technical databases are maintained and updated on a regular basis with insights and data from the region.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma/ in Marine/Mechanical Engineering, machinery maintenance, plant & asset reliability or adjacent field with proven experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years offshore industry experience or a minimum 3 years of sailing experience as a Class 2 Engineer and above or Marine, Oil & Gas industry or Power gen industry engineering experience including both equipment maintenance and reliability experience.
  • Theoretical and practical experience of the main rotating machinery as operated by offshore companies.
  • Condition based maintenance experience

Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Ability to develop, maintain and build new relationships with customers, OEMs and Industry bodies
  • Demonstrates resources and own networks to achieve goals and objectives
  • Understanding of shipping, oil & gas market and global dynamics, trends, regulatory environment desirable
  • Proven abilities of dealing with and influencing multiple internal and external customers both within and outside the organization is crucial for success in this role
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and solving.
  • Clear and customer-friendly communication skills.

The role is accountable for delivery of shared business objectives in the given portfolio, including Volume and GM performance targets, as well as other activation targets like in-store penetration, share of wallet and training etc. An information source of the latest “voice of customer”, the competitor activities and the change of local market. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Workshop development: 
  • Work with Key Account sales team and planning team to define a local area business plan including target workshops, coverage, sales target, activities etc.
  • Understand Key Account sales contract terms, policy and agreed offer
  • Support to prepare specific workshop value selling offer and sell to the target customer under guidance.

Job Purpose - This role will sit within the Finance FP&A organization and will be accountable for delivering business planning and performance management and business partnering support for Castrol India Lubricants Business.

The role involves leading the delivery of financial forecasts for Castrol India and delivering business planning and performance management insights at the Executive level. This position requires partnering with Executive level business leadership as well finance leadership to gain a deep understanding of the business context. The key objective is to develop and deliver insightful financial products that enable effective business financial performance management and support decision-making at the Executive level.

Key Accountabilities

The India Finance Advisor is a highly skilled and experienced leader responsible for overseeing a team that handles financial performance reporting and articulates business strategy and actual performance to senior leadership. The incumbent leads a team of finance professionals, delivering business planning and performance management products and insights to Castrol India and South Asia businesses. This role involves end-to-end business planning, performance management, and control activities, supporting the creation and delivery of the business strategy and financial roadmap. The manager supports the senior management in driving business performance in economic and strategic terms and leads interventions to ensure strategic objectives are met. This role acts as the interface between Embedded Finance and FP&A, serving as the single point of accountability (SPA) for business context and cross-finance integration.

Strategic planning : Collaborate closely with business and embedded finance teams to lead core planning activities, including developing budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation strategies. Provide input and challenge to business plans and strategies, addressing risks and mitigations. Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations that chip in to organizational performance goals. Supervise yearly and multi-year planning processes, including the development of financial plans, engagement materials, and top-down/bottom-up planning processes. Drive business-specific non-routine processes

Performance Management :  Lead the delivery of timely, accurate, and reliable financial and management information to support Executive level decision making. Manage the team to consolidate forecasts from individual businesses, understand key movements, variances and provide insights to leadership through preparation of presentation materials. Interact directly with Executives to provide performance insights passionate about improving profitability to achieve targets.

Collaboration : Work in collaboration with local finance leadership to implement the delivery of business planning and performance reporting processes. Provide oversight to develop robust long-term plans with performance insights that enable decision making. Prioritize and allocate team resources to successfully meet the needs of the business.

Financial Modelling : Work with the team in developing financial forecasts of the P&L and cash flow statement to model the financial outcomes of updated business plan scenarios. Apply judgment in the consolidation of realistic forecasts, challenging forecasts when necessary. Provide recommendations on judgements for realized financial outcomes.

Actuals Analysis : Lead delivery of the monthly/quarterly actuals variance analysis process on key line items such as capital or operating expenditure and financial outcomes.

Leadership : Lead a team of finance professionals, developing the team through coaching, mentoring and on the job development. Work with the team members to tackle problems when issues are called out.

Standardization and Process Optimization : Drive continuous improvement to promote standardization and simplification. Implement strategies that drive the automation of financial products, to improve the efficiency of financial analysis and reporting.

Education & Experience

  • 15 years of relevant post degree (CA, ICWA) experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting in an Manufacturing industries such as Retail, Asset-based business, Manufacturing, and Logistics
  • Deep knowledge of planning, performance management & control processes.
  • Deep Analysis and Insight capability: The ability to provide critical thinking to address complex situations, balance conflicting interests, and prioritize the interests of Castrol India.
  • Strategic direction: Adopting strategic direction and influencing key partners to gain agreement.

Job Purpose

To lead and coordinate the administrative needs of the lubricants business and provide personal Assistant support for the MD- CIL. This role will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day administrative tasks like diary maintenance and e-mail managing correspondence and other ad hoc administrative requirements. The incumbent of this role is required to be closely involved with issues relating to the MD's agenda, objectives, and accountabilities to ensure that matters are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner involving networking and engaging with other team members

Key Accountabilities

Administration and Communications Lead:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for both internal and external visitors wishing to contact Managing Director and the Board of Directors.
  • Construct, format and circulate all Lubes specific communications as appropriate.
  • Proof reading of corporate documentation, review, analysis and preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Administration of day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to minuting meetings, the preparation of reports and presentations, invoice processing, processing of internal expenses, the creation and maintenance of registers and financial spreadsheets, general typing of correspondence and other administrative tasks.
  • Booking all travel arrangements including detailed itineraries for each trip.
  • Creating and maintaining respective business’ contact lists and owning and maintaining various Address Lists.
  • Produce work to a high standard with minimal rework due to error and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for managing for employee related tools (Non HR related)

Diary and Correspondence Management

  • Diary and appointment management such that there is a high grade of customer service, a balance between meetings and desk time, and activities are appropriately prioritised.
  • Manage inbound correspondence through effective prioritisation and negotiation of workflow where required.
  • Manage internal reporting requirements like expense reporting & submission, Gift and Entertainment Register on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Manage outbound correspondence from a variety of inputs (e-mail, draft letters, prepare accurate outgoing correspondence in a timely manner, which reflects the highest professional standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all work

Meeting/Event Management:

  • Pro-active organisation & preparation of CIL Board Meetings, CLT meetings, Sales Meetings and Conferences and itineraries for visitors.
  • Ensure meeting attendees are aware of any changes in agendas or attendance in advance of the event.
  • Managing all required meeting related logistics (i.e. venue booking, issuing agendas, invite attendees and monitor responses, ensure effective use of technology at the time of the meeting/event).
  • Organise special events, such as away days, customer events, performance reviews, celebrations etc.

Relationship Management:

  • Ensure communication of internal policy and administrative requirements, as well as other SPU activity and news, to all members as appropriate.
  • Effective connect & relationship management with the CLT members.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Simplify and standardize office processes. This includes distribution of admin tasks, file management, meeting preparation with supporting documents, reporting and communication.

Education - A university degree (in accounting, commerce, economics etc).

Experience - Should have a minimum of 10 plus years of experience

• Understand BP global procurement strategy for all packaging material categories and support implementation of long term and short term techno-commercial plans in alignment with the procurement sector leads.

The Demand Advisor/Professional will implement and support a robust and regionally consistent for Automotive Business. Key Responsibilities:

• Align the plans submitted with the individual business managers of  B2C team with the overall business’s LBM plan. In case of discrepancies, to resolve and get a sign off from the respective customers so that there is a common understanding on the final plan. 
• In case the business managers want deviations from the original plan, to apprise them of the cost/service level implications and to flag it to the business head so that the decisions can be taken in the DR meetings. 
• Follow trends and share insights with customers that are inputting to the demand plan process. 
• Support the monthly Pre-Demand / Demand Review process. 
• Use forecast accuracy and a measure of bias to identify and agree actions that will improve planning and control process and supporting assumptions.

Background:

India Gas Solutions (IGS) is an incorporated joint venture with bp (50%) and Reliance (RIL, 50%) as the shareholders, passionate about sourcing and marketing of natural gas in India. It seeks to build a material gas marketing business, acting as an aggregator for demand with a combination of LNG and domestic gas supplies, as the gas market deregulates.

IGS is venturing into the LNG for trucking business. This involves importing LNG at terminals, unloading and transporting it to retail outlets across India using cryogenic tankers. The retail outlets will be constructed and operated by Jio bp (51% RIL: 49% bp). The storage of LNG until it is dispensed into trucks also falls under IGS's purview.

This role required to be hired for the business who will be seconded into the IGS joint venture

HSE&C Manager Key Responsibilities:

Transportation:

  • Transportation of Hazardous Goods (LNG) :
  • Collaborate with LNG tanker contractors to ensure vehicles align with mandated statutory requirements and are amended whenever vital and follow bp standard processes as per OMS 3.7 (GDP 3.7-0003)/IOGP 365 risk as per identified bow tie for risk management.
  • Setting up of system for the qualification of transport contractors, including an inventory of vehicles and drivers, to ensure compliance with transportation standards.
  • Coordinate the setup process and onboarding of an agency to supervise driving behaviour according to defined performance standards. Analyse data and draw inferences for feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for HSE&C Risk Management according to bp OMS 3.1 standard methodologies. Tasks include setting up bow ties for critical risks, barrier families, performance standards, and identifying local barrier owners. Additionally, responsible for driving the process of risk review, strengthening barriers, and crafting action plans for improvement based on risk category endorsement.
  • Enable transporters to conduct Journey Risk Management by incorporating ADAS digital technology for real-time alerts during transportation. Ensure key controls are supervised, and an effective emergency management system is in place.
  • Set in place process for transporter, driver communication, consultation, engagement and system for reward and recognition. Performance contractor and drivers need to be put in place.
  • System for reporting of Incidents, investigation and takeaways. Set Performance dashboard including leading and lagging Indicators and update management on it through periodic performance reviews.
  • Networking and update on development in technologies related to t including statutory updates if any and evaluate requirements that can be coordinated/impact on organization.
  • Employee Transportation (Ground) :
  • Implement Ground Transportation Policy GDP 3.7-0003 and India Driving Policy
  • Ensure statutory compliance with Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMV) for vehicles used in transportation.

Safety at LNG Terminal & Retail Outlet:

The HSE&C Manager is responsible for ensuring that contractors, operators, or agencies involved in unloading, storage at the terminal, and loading into transport tankers align with safety standards (that will be extracted from bp, IOGP 365 as well as applicable industrial standard and statutory requirements). HSE&C Manager will be responsible for assurance of Jio BP, and its contractors implement to during installation, operation, and maintenance of storage and dispensing systems outlet.

Furthermore, the HSEC Manager is also responsible for

  • Coordinate with Jio-bp for project management of LNG System at Retail Outlet. It involves evaluating HSE&C requirements at various stages of project. Will ensure integration of and barriers identified risk management.
  • Coordinate and influence incorporating the standard methodologies processes contractor safety management both at Project as well as Operational stage. It might include screening, onboarding, compliance monitoring, engagement and periodic evaluation of contractor.
  • Risk Management: In coordination identify key risks, bow ties and management process for risk review, barrier improvement plan and endorsement. Use data to update management about key risks and exposure management program in place as part of influencing plan.
  • Coordinate to identify vital among contractors/Jio-bp staff at project stage as well as at operating stage and support delivery of trainings. Give assurance to IGS Management on capability as well as process in place to have right culture in place.
  • Coordination with Jio-bp ensure vital Safety Management System in place which may include organization structure & capability, risk management, self-verification process, Incident reporting & learning, emergency management etc.
  • Working with Jio-bp team on health and sustainability agendas to reduce overall carbon emissions continual improvements

Key Skills:

  • Risk Assessment: Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate safety risks associated with LNG transportation and storage.
  • Incident Investigation: Proficiency in investigating incidents, near misses, and non-conformances to ensure continuous improvement.
  • OSHA Compliance : Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations to ensure workplace safety.
  • NEBOSH Certification: Certification in NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) is helpful.
  • ISO 14001 & ISO 45001: Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards.
  • Emergency Response : Expertise in crafting and implementing emergency response plans.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to efficiently collaborate close network with contractors, operators, and other customers
  • Joint-Venture Experience : Prior experience of working within a Joint venture environment is desirable. Collaboration with diverse teams both internal & external with good interpersonal skills.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, OHS Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Professional Certifications: Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable

Prior Work Experience:

  • Industry Experience: A proven ability 15 years experience in Health, Safety, Environment, and Carbon (HSEC) roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Hazchem & Natural Gas Experience: Proven experience in handling HSEC aspects, hazardous chemicals' transportation.

Reviewing and verifying project documents and participating in product related activities, identifying any risks and vulnerabilities.

The role will be accountable for:
• Focus on operational integrity, assuring operational compliance with architectural and security standards, as well as compliance and policy controls refined by Strategy, Digital Security or other relevant Regulatory, Legal and Compliance functions.
• Ensure development, testing, operations and ongoing improvements to digital products
• Lead development of operational procedures and work instructions, enable to successfully execute maintenance duties, and Change Requests
• Collaborate extensively with technology teams to resolve complex incidents, requests and problems, and will act as technical advisors on major digital projects
• Assure the safe application and adoption of new and changed technology into the environment, working with customers to ensure requirements are met and respond to escalation where needed
• Carry out administrative tasks as needed by bp’s service management processes and Tools (e.g. SNOW, ADO, etc.)
• Domain & technical knowledge
o Sound understanding of DMS system (Distributor Management System)
o Problem solving
o Good understanding of Cloud environment (Azure, AWS), Oracle and SQL database.
o Good understanding of API’s integration (REST APIs,  XML, Python, Java, JSON etc)
o Experience with agile development tools such as Azure DevOps.
o Experience in tools for managing requirements, for example, ADO, SharePoint, Visio etc
o Track record of good interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
o Ability to work within a virtual global team environment, self-motivated to work with limited supervision
o Exposure of Statutory compliance and Audit requirement
o Vendor Contract management, KPI tacking, SLA, budget etc.
- Knowledge of ERP (JD Edwards) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of latest technologies automation tools like Automation Anywhere, AI/ML, Customer - Relationship Management (CRM), Salesforce, API Designer will be an added advantage.

What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)

• Formal qualifications constituting university degrees, examination certificates that confirm a level of educational attainment or licenses. (A Bachelor's (or higher) degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS/I, )
• ITIL Qualification desirable but not required 
• Prior experience working in an IT support role within a FGMG environment
• Good understanding of DMS (Distributor Management system) 
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Good change management skills and delivery assurance experience
• Can resolve conflicting ideas and demands to provide clarity and establish priorities that aligns with business objectives 
• The ability to deliver a message effectively and concisely at all levels, on both a technical and a business level
• Track record of good interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
•  Ideally experience with agile development tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
