  • Excellent SQL skills and experience using SQL query tools
  • Experience with Axiom CV v9/10
  • Experience and a strong curiosity about software implementation and process management is required
  • Is service focused and can get along with client personnel at any level, from technical staff to executive leadership.
  • Ability to travel to client locations or other Nasdaq offices, or stay at certain locations during implementation (typically 3 to 9 months).

Job Purpose -  This role is a key member of the Castrol Functions Finance team supporting the Global Marketing team, Global Accounts Management team and other central functions.

The role is based at Mumbai.

This role sits within the Castrol Functions Finance team and is accountable for delivering business planning and performance management and business partnering support for Global Marketing, Global Accounts Management (GAM), and other Head Office central functional teams. The role is a multi-discipline one, encompassing aspects of both planning and performance management, and certain control-related activities. The role requires excellent engagement skills and the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities while meeting stakeholder expectations, maintaining a proactive business partnering relationship between finance and the relevant business teams.

Key Accountabilities

Performance Management: working closely with dedicated support from the Finance & Business Technology (FBT) team, help to prepare timely, accurate, and reliable financial and management information to support business decisions. Develop and explain material for business performance leadership team discussions, including key messages, analysis, and insights. Provide performance insights to business stakeholders with a strong focus on managing costs.

Business Partnering and Performance Insights: build and maintain a proactive business relationship with relevant Business/Function Leadership teams. With dedicated FBT support, drive the Performance Management agenda, ensuring robust and timely forecasts and delivery of MI analysis and commentary.

Monitor and support cost reduction initiatives and ensure effective tracking and accurate analysis of costs. Support ad-hoc and strategic business decisions.

Actuals Analysis: working closely with dedicated FBT support, analyse monthly/quarterly actuals, including trend analysis and explaining actuals vs. forecasts. Highlight areas where performance is behind or ahead of plan and suggest potential interventions. Work with Global Marketing team to understand and explain movements in Global ASP

Business Planning: working closely with dedicated FBT support, play a key role in developing the long-term plan and annual plan update process. Coordinate the plan for Global Marketing, GAM and Castrol Head Office teams, analyse plan data in SAP based systems, and output in PowerBI reports. Prepare presentation material, including commentary, and answer follow-up questions from leadership or central finance teams.

Economic Evaluation: support the business teams in performing economic analysis to evaluate the financial viability of various projects or scenarios. Review and develop insights into economic drivers and sources of value for the business, while providing robust challenge to assumptions made by the business.

Control Environment: perform various control-related tasks including maintenance of DOA, GRIR analysis, monitoring and setup of intercompany recharges for functional employees, review of cost pools for global marketing recharges, fixed asset review and due diligence

Recharges: play a key role in the global royalty and residual fee process, including confirming the accuracy and completeness of business performance reporting, reconciliation to underlying financial data/ forecasting, variance commentary and addressing business queries in relation to the intercompany charges. Assist the CFO delegate in providing overall sign-off of recharge calculation (>$600m in 2024).

Simplification: promote the use of standard systems and reports, and work towards continued standardization and simplification of performance management processes

Education & Experience

  • Degree in a Degree in Business and/or Finance or equivalent
  • 15 years of experience in a commercial finance roles preferably within the context of FMCG industry
  • Expert knowledge and application of Plan to Perform processes, including digital literacy and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and insight capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement in performance management and MI.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating sophisticated requirements into simple outcomes.
  • Strategic vision and business leadership: ability to see the big picture, anticipate issues including financial implications and create solutions in support of financial objectives.
  • Ability to gain trust from business stakeholders and drive performance.

**The opportunity**
The Director, Regulatory Affairs - Post-Approval (US Generics) is a senior regulatory leader responsible for independently setting the strategic direction and ensuring the successful execution of all post-approval regulatory activities for U.S. FDA-regulated generic drug products. This role provides regulatory leadership across the organization, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and guidances, while driving continuous improvement in lifecycle management processes. The Director leads a team of regulatory professionals and serves as a key liaison with the FDA, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
**How you'll spend your day**
+ Define and lead the global regulatory strategy for post-approval lifecycle management of U.S. FDA-approved ANDAs/NDAs, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory expectations.
+ Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of all CMC post-approval regulatory filings, including CMC Supplements (CBE-0, CBE-30, and PAS), Annual Reports (both active and inactive), REMS updates, general correspondences and controlled correspondences
+ Serve as the primary regulatory authority on post-approval matters, providing expert guidance to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
+ Lead regulatory assessments and decision-making for complex changes, including site transfers, formulation changes, alternate APIs, etc.
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with FDA project managers.
+ Monitor and interpret evolving FDA regulations, guidances, and enforcement trends; proactively adapt strategies and internal processes.
+ Develop and implement regulatory policies, SOPs, and training programs to ensure consistent and compliant practices across the organization.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regulatory team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
+ Represent Regulatory Affairs in global governance forums, strategic planning sessions, divestment assistance and support of internal initiatives.
+ Initiate/manage notices of commercial launch and product obsoletion, as well as updates to the Orange Book.
**Your experience and qualifications**
+ Pharm Dor M. Pharma in a scientific discipline.
+ Minimum 15+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with at least 10+ years in U.S. Regulatory Affairs focused on managing the lifecycle of generic drug products.
+ Proven leadership (8+ years in a supervisory role) in independently managing a large regulatory team, as well as a large and diverse post-approval portfolio consisting of various, globally manufactured dosage forms and complex supply chains.
+ Deep expertise and applied knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR 314.70), ICH guidelines, and eCTD submission standards.
+ Experience with regulatory systems (e.g., Veeva, TrackWise) and electronic document management systems (e.g. Wisdom, Glorya, Livelink, Knowledgetree).
+ Demonstrated success in leading regulatory strategy, agency interactions, and lifecycle management for ANDAs/NDAs.
+ Strong business acumen and ability to align regulatory strategies with commercial and operational objectives, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
+ Demonstrates a basic understanding of pharmaceutical drug development.
+ Demonstrated/proven track record of FDA interactions, as well as negotiation and influencing skills.
+ Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment, as well as with third parties.
+ Experience with regulatory intelligence, policy shaping, and industry advocacy is a plus.
+ Lean Six Sigma certification, or other accreditation related to improving business processes is a plus.

**The opportunity**
Responsible for leading and managing applications through the regulatory approval process, including preparation of Post Approval Submissions to Health Canada (HC), to obtain timely approvals. **Your experience and qualifications**
+ M. Pharma degree in a scientific discipline
+ Minimum 5-7 years in Regulatory affairs in post approval (EU/FDA with preference for HC) and overall pharma experience of 7-10 years
+ Preferred, experience with sterile products.
+ Excellent oral and written communication
+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task; detail oriented.
+ Possesses strong critical and logical thinking

Performs studies to ensure proper form, fit, and function of parts and/or assemblies
Basic Knowledge about IEC Standards related to MV Switchgear System & G & TD
Familiar with Manufacturing Processes/Material Standards, measuring and test equipment.
Diploma Mechanical with 2-3 years of experience in relevant experience in Retrofit Designs.
Excellent spatial sense and general design knowledge regarding busbar, Machining component & welded design
Excellent knowledge about manufacturing specific design. Knowledge about additive manufacturing is beneficial.
Excellent skills in NX and Auto CAD Software
