+ In-depth knowledge of piping design codes and standards, such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, and ASME B31.8. Knowledge of process engineering principles and equipment specifications. - Collaborate closely with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers.
- Mentor junior reservoir engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in reservoir engineering.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Tempest, CMG).
- Strong understanding of reservoir fluid properties, rock mechanics, and fluid flow in porous media.
- Experience with well test analysis and production data analysis.
- Familiarity with economic evaluation software and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
