About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Biomedical Engineer – Operations to join our growing team at Proteger AI. The candidate will be responsible for implementing our flagship product, Vajra , at hospitals and medical colleges. This role bridges the gap between biomedical engineering workflows and digital adoption, ensuring smooth deployment, user onboarding, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and execute end-to-end implementation of Vajra software at client hospitals
- Work closely with biomedical departments to digitize asset data (equipment, AMC/CMC, calibration, incidents, etc.)
- Train hospital staff (biomedical engineers, technicians, admin teams) on using Vajra modules
- Ensure timely configuration of preventive maintenance schedules, incident workflows, and reports
- Serve as the first point of contact for operational issues, updates, and feedback
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, software usage, and NABH/NMC compliance
- Assist in demo setups and support sales teams during pre-sales technical discussions
- Travel to client hospitals across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu as needed
- 1–3 years of experience working in hospitals, biomedical engineering teams.
- Familiarity with hospital equipment lifecycle, calibration, and NABH documentation processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to train and coordinate with clinical teams
- Comfortable with fieldwork and travel
