Responsibilities: 

  • Data insights and analysis: Summarize key data driven insights to members of the senior leadership team to drive better outcomes, an increase in revenue or decrease in cost.
  • Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics.
  • Demonstrate excellent Data Analytics and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of economic concepts, such as unit economics, retention and activation, marginal returns, and pricing economics, to drive our financial strategy.
  • Act as an ambassador for data-driven decision-making within the company, ensuring that insights are shared and acted upon across departments.
  • End-to-end problem-solving and communication abilities: diagnosis, data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, design, validation, and documentation and suggest ways to improve processes and incorporate operational excellence best practices.
  • Take initiatives in improving the quality and efficiency of internal reports and streamlining analysis and processes.
  • Responsible for being the liaison between the functional teams such as Customer Success, Sales, Finance and Tech.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Deliver engaging and informative customer demos, showcasing the platform's features and benefits.
  • Provide live, on-call support to executives, ensuring seamless use and addressing any technical issues promptly.
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Business Intelligence/Data Science/Analytics background is essential.
  • Relevant experience working with product-based tech start-ups.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, PostgreSQL, and relational databases, R or Python.
  • Advanced skills in business intelligence tools with a strong ability to visualize and story tell with data Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase).
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, VBA and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
