We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Engineer  with a background in mechanical engineering and experience in fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fabricated components meet the required quality standards, from material inspection through to final product verification. Familiarity with QMS, ERP systems, and fabrication drawings is essentials.


Responsibilities

  • Understanding fabrication drawing & executing inspection check at different stage.
  • Strong knowledge of light & medium fabrication.
  • Knowledge of Quality process and standards which are followed in Fabrication.
  • Conducting Inward material Inspection and in-house components inspection.
  • Familiar to ERP system & maintaining records in the systems.
  • Maintaining quality document & records for different components.
  • Check & review of Fixture to suit the assembly for fabrication.

Knowledge of QMS is necessary


Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Fabrication Engineering
  • Certification of QMS is preferred.
  • NDT level 2 is preferred

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Quality control person, you will have to ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials,
ingredients, and production processes in Supplementation manufacturing. The ideal candidate should
have a strong understanding of quality control, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance in the
food/nutraceutical industry.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:




● Ensure materials meet specified standards before entering the production line.


 ● Monitor hygiene, storage conditions, and handling of raw materials. 


● Verify batch documentation and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


 ● Online product testing of raw material checks before issuance to production.


 ● Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Online Inspections and relevant food
safety regulations (FSSAI, HACCP) during all processes.


 ● Inspect pre-mixing, blending, and ingredient formulation processes.


 ● Perform routine laboratory tests on ingredients before and after processing.


 ● Ensure compliance with nutritional and microbiological standards.



 ● Work closely with the R&D team to optimize formulations.



 ● Train production staff on quality and hygiene best practices.


 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:


 EDUCATION - B.Sc./B.Tech in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology 


● Good communication skills 



● Strong knowledge of quality testing methods and equipment. 


● Understanding of regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, etc.).

    1. On-Line Checks:
    ○ Perform continuous monitoring of the production line to ensure all products
    meet predefined quality parameters.
    ○ Conduct real-time inspections of products during various stages of production
    to identify any defects or deviations.

    identified issues.
    ○ Maintain detailed logs of on-line checks, including data on any defects,

    ○ Maintain records of FG inspections, including batch numbers, inspection

    3. Raw Material (RM) Checks:
    ○ Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials against quality standards and
    purchase specifications before they are accepted for production.
    ○ Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials for quality, consistency, and
    compliance with safety standards.
    ○ Document the quality of incoming materials, including any issues detected,
    and work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
    ○ Oversee the proper storage of raw materials to prevent contamination or
    degradation, ensuring that storage conditions meet the required standards.
    4. Vehicle Inspections:
    ○ Inspect vehicles used for transporting raw materials and finished goods to
    ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and suitable for the safe transport of
    food products.
    ○ Check that vehicles comply with industry standards for temperature control,
    sanitation, and safety during the loading and unloading process.
    ○ Document vehicle inspection findings, including any necessary maintenance
    or cleaning, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely resolution
    of issues.
    ○ Ensure that all vehicles used for transportation meet regulatory and companyspecific hygiene and safety standards.
