Job Description

• Ideate and create visual content: Photos, videos, reels, and graphics.
• Develop visually appealing designs that speak the language of the brand, for all digital and print platforms including website banners, landing pages, emailers, newsletters, lookbooks, Meta and Google Ads.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies like AI, and social media platforms, and incorporate innovative ideas into design projects.

Skillset must-have

• Product photography and Set styling 

Good to have

• A basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro (and the eagerness to learn more)
• A keen eye for typography and writing skills wins you a point

Summary

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Communications. Minimum 2 years work experience as Communications Manager or Assistant Marketing Communications Manager. Good problem solving, writing, administrative and PR skills are a must.

We're looking for a Visual Communication Designer who is not only skilled but also aligned with our values of sustainability, craft preservation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visual Design & Production
  Create compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for websites, social media, online ads, and marketing materials.
• Translate brand stories into engaging visuals that resonate with targeted audiences.

• Ensure design consistency across all platforms while exploring fresh, creative approaches.

• Video Editing & Visual Storytelling
  Edit raw footage into polished video content for social media, campaigns, and lookbooks.

• Work with color grading, transitions, sound design, and timing to produce impactful short-form and long-form content.

• Support seasonal campaigns, launches, and artisan stories through video narratives.

• We're Looking For Someone Who:
  Has a strong design sense and a passion for visual storytelling.

• Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
• Understands the aesthetics of clothing, slow fashion, and handmade products.
• Can collaborate with the brand team to understand the mood and message of each campaign.
• Is open to experimentation, fast-paced tasks, and learning in a start-up environment.
