This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive regulatory compliance programs across all business units.
  • Interpret complex laws and regulations and translate them into practical policies and procedures for the company.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Advise senior management and relevant departments on regulatory requirements and potential impacts on business operations.
  • Oversee the investigation of reported compliance concerns and breaches, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Develop and deliver engaging compliance training to employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external counsel as necessary to ensure full compliance and address any inquiries or investigations.
  • Stay informed about emerging regulatory trends and changes in legislation that may affect the company.
  • Manage legal documentation related to compliance matters, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active bar admission in good standing.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a significant portion in an in-house legal counsel role or a specialized compliance function.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations (e.g., finance, healthcare, technology, manufacturing).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective compliance frameworks and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and compliance management software is desirable.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding corporate integrity.
