As an international company, we are looking for a Construction Manager who will work in our Azerbaijan Solar Power Plant Project.
Key Responsibilites : The principal focus of the Construction Manager is to ensure the effective delivery of all site activities in line with the scope and schedule of the project. Responsible for the planning, organisation, execution, monitoring and integration of trade packages and sub-contracts
to achieve positive project outcomes. (Minimum 300 MW Solar Next Tracker System experince is plus)
Reporting to: Senior Project Manager. Supports and aligns with any other representative of the Employer designated from time to time by the Employer.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day construction of utility scale solar and BESS projects with a focus on HSE compliance, quality assurance and schedule management.
• In conjunction with the project management team, develop tactical construction plans, delivery schedules and project package budgets.
• Ensure compliance of site activities in relation to alignment with design specifications, project timelines and safety regulations.
• Oversee the maintenance of up-to-date construction schedules.
• Organise and contribute to regular project meetings with The Client, project management team and sub-contractors.
• Provide site specific coordination with suppliers, equipment vendors, labour force and project consultants to support the on-time, on-budget performance of the project.
• Support engineering and design teams both locally and internationally through the provision of technical input, constructability and scheduling advice.
• Organise and maintain site specific documentation including project files, drawings, materials registers and correspondence.
• Ensure site compliance with the relevant regulatory frameworks including safety, environmental, industrial relations and HR.
• Support the Project Manager with other project related activities deemed necessary for the success of the project.
Relationship Management
• Build strong, effective and collaborative working relationships with internal peers.
• Coordinate communications with staff and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate full and positive participation as a member of the team at meetings
• Support other Project Coordinators in their roles
Other
• Undertake other duties and projects from time to time as requested by manager
• Occasional travel maybe required to support the business
Health & Safety
• Comply with all Intec Energy’s policies and procedures and responsibilities.

WTG Installation Manager
- Responsible for Installation & Commissioning of WTG (Daily on-site coordination- & reporting).
- Progress reporting to Construction Manager / Site Manager.
- Ensure the management of Cranes, Installation Teams / Contractor, Tools, Commissioning spares, materials, quality etc. with the Construction Manager.
Safety Accountabilities
o Lead daily safety meetings with Installation employees; Crane crew, Installation subcontractor and Commissioning teams.
o Present, support and lead by Envision Red Line example with a safety- & quality-oriented attitude.
Relationship Management Accountabilities:
o Maintain a positive relationship with client, ensuring that the company is fulfilling its obligations under the contract and providing the best value to the client.
o Communicate daily with client, Supervisors, Construction Manager, Local PM, safety and quality departments, acting as the point person for the project between all vested parties.
Installation & Commissioning Monitoring
o Monitor and inspect Installation & Commissioning to confirm quality and that the Installation works are in conformance with the Manuals.
o Review and manage technical submittals (Work instruction and work plans) to confirm conformance with the Manuals.
o Address issues that arise in a timely and cost-effective manner.
o Effective documentation of progress through reports (with detailed photos), NCR’s (if any).
o Check daily reports and document Bad Weather Reports, Installation delay events, and assess and document project-abnormalities to the respective party. The reports must be counter signed or as minimum by the Installation Manager. These to be prepared for cost management.
Planning:
o Determine the scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines.
o Work with the Construction Manager / Project Manager to show that all procurement, submittals, and work plans are in place to facilitate work, as scheduled.
o Work together with Supervisors to prepare schedules, ‘look-aheads’, and daily reports.
o Analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
o Confirm monthly contract progress payment documents, forecast and manage potential changes.
o Ensure structured reporting to the Construction Manager /Local PM intended for Management Presentation.
Leadership:
o Manage and lead the Installation & Commissioning team, ensuring that all responsibilities are met. Coach and develop project team members.
o Ensure Contractors fully understand their contractual obligations and project requirements
o Liaise with Contractors to minimize Contractor conflict and encourage synergy on multiple Contractor work sites.
o Identify slow progress, inadequate quality or performance, possible future construction problems and suggest possible solutions.
Environment:
o Consult with supervisors or other managers to monitor Installation progress, resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.
