  • Experience with User Exits, preparing functional specifications, executing test cycles, cutovers, go-live and Hypercare, providing user training and documentation.
  • Expert in cross functional integration of modules - SD-FI & MM-FI
  • Multiple successful project implementation experience in SAP release 5.x or higher
  • Strong in project management, leadership abilities, and has tendency to independently execute project cycles and deliverables.
  • Relentless focus on quality of work products while adhering to completing deliverables on time.
  • Effective communications and strong presentation and team building skills. Proactive, participates in firm-based activities, and owns his/her career.
  • Strong analytical skills in business process design and requirements preparation
  • Team Management experience (For Senior Professionals)

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP FICO/MM/SD (ECC or S4 HANA) Certified
  • Experience with New GL, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Materials Management, Logistics Invoice Verification, Asset Accounting implementation.

Job Description For Data Scientist
Objectives and Purpose

  • The Lead Data Scientist is responsible for applying expertise and best practices in full-stack data science capabilities including advanced data analytics, statistical modeling (AI/ML), MLOps, data engineering, and data visualization to develop data-driven solutions to enable business insights. This individual partners closely with Business Unit Leaders to model complex problems, derive analytical conclusions, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities
Data Science

  • Develop customer-centric solutions with recommended data model and business intelligence (BI) technologies.
  • Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, and scalable statistical models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products, ability to discover correlations between variables and generate predictions/forecasts of data-driven decisions.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from one data source (e.g., Databricks) into a single, consistent data source for data modelling and workflow orchestration purposes (i.e., representations of data flows and relationships).
  • Advocate and educate on the value of data-driven decision making with focus on "how and why" of solving problems.
  • Oversee forecasting models that process and analyze large quantities of data to identify key trends and business insights.

The opportunity

We are looking for a proficient Teradata Database Administrator with over 6 years of hands-on experience in managing, tuning, and supporting large-scale, mission-critical Teradata systems. Candidate will be an expert in the full lifecycle of Teradata administration, from architecture and installation to performance optimization and troubleshooting. Candidate requires deep technical knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a strong focus on stability and performance.

Your key responsibilities

  • Experience of 6+ years of dedicated experience as a Teradata DBA, managing large, multi-terabyte to petabyte-scale systems in a production environment.
  • Experience in Teradata RDBMS about Teradata architecture, including parsing engines, AMPs, nodes, and the BYNET.
  • Experience in performance monitoring and tuning using Teradata Viewpoint, DBQL, and Explain. Must be adept at analysing and optimizing complex SQL.
  • Proficiency with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT, FastExport, ARC).
  • Mastery of Teradata SQL and experience with Teradata Active System Management (TASM) for workload management.
  • Hands-on experience with Teradata backup and recovery processes and tools.
  • Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
  • Perform day-to-day administration of Teradata systems, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching in a multi-node environment.
  • Proactively monitor and tune system performance. Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries, identify and resolve resource contention issues, and manage skew data and statistics. Utilize tools like Teradata Viewpoint, DBQL, and Explain.
  • Monitor database growth and forecast future capacity needs for CPU, memory, and storage. Manage space allocation across databases, users, and tables.
  • Implement and enforce robust security policies. Manage user profiles, roles, and authentication. Conduct regular access reviews and ensure compliance with data governance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Develop, test, and maintain reliable backup and disaster recovery strategies using tools like ARC and NetBackup. Ensure Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) can be met.
  • Administer and support Teradata's fallback and clonal capabilities. Manage system outages and execute recovery procedures to ensure high availability.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts (BTEQ, SQL, Shell, Python) for routine DBA tasks, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Experience in supporting for production issues, Work closely with data architects, ETL developers, and business analysts to support their data needs and guide best practices.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Use an issue-based approach to deliver growth, market and portfolio strategy engagements for corporates
  • Strong communication, presentation and team building skills and experience in producing high quality reports, papers, and presentations.
  • Experience in executing and managing research and analysis of companies and markets, preferably from a commercial due diligence standpoint.
