Rove Overview
We’re looking for a Technical Co-Founder / Founding Engineer who will own the product’s technical foundation — from architecture to deployment — and shape the roadmap alongside the founding team.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Vedicscan’s MVP and future releases.
- Build APIs and microservices to generate astrological charts, predictions, and compatibility scores using scripture-based logic.
- Integrate or fine-tune AI/LLM models for personalized insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely on product strategy, UX, and data infrastructure.
- Manage hosting (AWS / GCP / Supabase / Firebase) and DevOps pipelines for early versions.
- Mentor early engineering hires as the team scales.
Who you are
- Experience with astrology is a must (2 years working in the Astrology space or from an Astrology family background with good knowledge on the subject).
- Builder mindset — excited about zero-to-one product creation.
- Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript (React, Node.Js) or Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) .
- Familiarity with AI/ML integrations , Supabase / Firebase , and PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases .
- Strong understanding of API architecture and third-party integrations.
- Self-driven, creative, and comfortable working in ambiguity.
- Ready to work more than 20 hours/week.
