**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Operations Specialist with a minimum of 5+ years in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in industry terminology and able to collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore teams. This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations, ensuring data quality, and providing exceptional client support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate closely with the manager to understand leadership priorities and align operational plans accordingly.
+ Work with the Data Transformation team to enhance data quality by providing technical oversight on data entered by vendor partners.
+ Develop a strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and metrics, ensuring quality control and operational oversight of vendor operations.
+ Address client issues on a daily basis, providing timely resolutions and participating in client calls.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for oil and gas operations, becoming the "Go-To" person for relevant states.
+ Build expertise in S&P Global's internal systems and processes, as well as client-facing products related to US wells and production.
+ Familiarity with SQL and process automation is a plus.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations.
+ Strong understanding of oil and gas terminology.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Background in SQL and process automation is advantageous.
