**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Operations Specialist with a minimum of 5+ years in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in industry terminology and able to collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore teams. This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations, ensuring data quality, and providing exceptional client support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate closely with the manager to understand leadership priorities and align operational plans accordingly.
+ Work with the Data Transformation team to enhance data quality by providing technical oversight on data entered by vendor partners.
+ Develop a strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and metrics, ensuring quality control and operational oversight of vendor operations.
+ Address client issues on a daily basis, providing timely resolutions and participating in client calls.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for oil and gas operations, becoming the "Go-To" person for relevant states.
+ Build expertise in S&P Global's internal systems and processes, as well as client-facing products related to US wells and production.
+ Familiarity with SQL and process automation is a plus.

• Work daily with Product Owner(s), ServiceNow/Cloud engineers, Integration & Data Architects, Procurement (S2P/Category), R&D/PLM (Windchill), Finance, and Quality/Regulatory.
• Build depth in cloud data tooling and product analytics, sharpen program leadership (Agile/SAFe, PMP), and grow into a strategic PM/PO or Architecture-adjacent role.
Job Responsibilities:
• Apply data science/analytics to monitor and report KPIs specific to 3rd-party BOM software (usage by product/BOM, license & entitlement status, renewal risk, vendor spend, savings pipeline, standardization/adoption).
• Implement robust monitoring and controls in SHUB (ServiceNow) for catalog completeness, AVL checks (Windchill↔SAP), data quality rules, and compliance signals tied to BOM lineage.
• Partner with PM, Architects, and system owners to define data and mappings across Windchill, SAP, Azure Data Lake, and ServiceNow—ensuring lineage/traceability for BOM-scoped third-party software.
• Assists with medium-complexity projects related to digital transformation (features, integrations, dashboards), adhering to Agile and Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement using analytical insights, collaborating with Business Process Experts (BPEs) and senior management to drive efficiency, innovation, and strategic alignment.
• Enable adoption and change—prepare materials, run demos/UAT, coach engineers and buyers on how programs support software discovery, requests, and compliance.
