Your Job

The Analyst is a key position with a responsibility to help implement and manage Central Finance system at Molex. The role will be a key role in ensuring the financial data quality and integrity between legacy ERP and Central Finance system. It will play a pivotal role in tying out financial transactions between Legacy and Central Finance. The role also requires creating financial reporting package for different user group that includes Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet.

What You Will Do

  • Work with Implementation partner and KGSI Lead on various reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Perform tie outs and reconciliation between One Stream/SAP/Other systems with Central Finance
  • Understand calculation of various Level 1,2 KPIs/measures and apply that knowledge during validation/tie outs.
  • Must understand and gain knowledge on various financial statements (Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, US GAAP Reports etc.) during training phase
  • Monitor Application Interface Framework to check errors in data load and work with respective team get resolved
  • Data Tie out: Consolidated and Unconsolidated data from One Stream/SAP to Central Finance
  • Share inputs with Lead/Supervisor on current challenges and best practices of the domain.
  • Participate in daily, weekly touch points with larger groups and provide status updates/ voice concerns.
  • Assess and re-assess need of automation/transformation to make recurring tasks efficient.

Ensure to execute and deliver based on the defined milestones.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • CA/CS/MBA/M. Com with minimum 1-2 years of experience in R2R, financial reporting, planning, analysis and consolidation or freshers with sound understanding of Company financials
  • Prior experience in Financial and Operational reporting (GAAP reports, tax reports, costing reports, P/L and Balance Sheets)
  • Understanding of SAP General Ledger code structure and knowledge on creating journal entries
  • Good knowledge on definitions for database file and support tools and ERP backend tables.
  • Ability to formulate appropriate methodology and approach for developing insights to solve financial reporting problems
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and comfortable executing independently and as a team

    To execute the process and control routines necessary for ESG data and information collation, transformation and analysis to support GSK to meet its internal and external Non-Environmental ESG Reporting obligations. This role is responsible for executing the day to day Hub procedures to ensure effective service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • To work with business functions to collate the required Environmental & Non-Environmental Data and Information and perform initial validation checks to confirm accuracy and completeness of source data. This includes reporting and tracking any identified exceptions through to resolution.
    • Responsibility for confirming that Management Monitoring is being undertaken by SMEs/Data Owners, highlighting where further guidance and training to ensure the effective implementation of minimum control standards is required. This extends to assisting the Performance and Governance Manager and Operations Lead to deliver training as required.
    • To execute Environmental & Non-Environmental Data and Information collation and transformation procedures timely and accurately, liaising with relevant stakeholders as necessary, providing an initial analysis to be reported to the Operations Lead for review. This includes ensuring all 4-eye checks are obtained, as well as actioning any amends and feedback timely.
    • This includes updating the Metric and Stakeholder Mapping document and Data Inventory as well as the ESG Reporting processes and controls as appropriate.
    • Responsibility for updating and maintaining data collation, transformation and analysis procedures which form part of the wider ESG Reporting Hub framework. This includes both existing and new Environmental & Non Environmental Data and Information reporting requirements.

    Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required:

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong analytical skills, with previous experience in a data analyst role.
    • Experience interacting with various data sources.
    • Proficiency across a number of data reporting tools (including MS Office).
    • A knowledge and interest in ESG reporting.
    • At least 5 years post qualification experience, preferably within a similar operating model and similar sector.

    • Responsible for the delivery of reporting services via direct access and bespoke requests, leveraging both automation techniques and manual reporting.
    • Liaison with other groups such as vendors, IT, all other teams within Talent Delivery.
    • Understand and deliver complex, ad-hoc report analytics requests through leveraging analytics expertise.
    • Provide better managerial insights to stakeholders - through integrated and standardized data reports and dashboards.
    • Deliver on diverse requests spanning across SF configuration and reporting functionality, SQL, Power BI, advanced excel, data configuration, storytelling etc
    • Develop delivery expertise on the different technologies used in SF within Talent, liaising with different solution and process owners to ensure data availability.
    • Seek ways to automate standard reporting to aid and develop the reporting landscape.
    • Perform data analysis to assess quality and meaning of data, maintain database and data systems to ensure reorganization of data in a readable format.
    • Support and execute ongoing development of existing solutions by identifying and prioritizing needs, defining the requirements for third party delivery.

    Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

    • Provide delivery expertise and knowledge in how reporting and analysis operates. Understand the reporting landscape and optimize functional delivery standards.
    • For allocated processes support and implement decisions for defining, delivering, and continuously improving the process.
    • Leverage and review data and information to monitor reporting performance against agreed metrics. (e.g., timelines / efficiency of service delivery)
