Required Technical and Professional Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of DB2 server software and related products.
- Should have good experience on DB2 Database Management
- Should have good experience on DB2 patching and security health check
- Should have good knowledge on database and query tuning
- Should have excellent technical troubleshooting skills and problem management in the large banking environment
- Establish and maintain DB2 Database backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and SA's.
Having good knowledge on multiple database technologies would be an added advantage.
Should have experience on implementation of Oracle patches, Vulnerability closure on Databases
- Manage Database Operations providing 24X7 Support
- Ensure Uptime of managed Databases as per SLA
- Should able manage small projects in account and completion by target date
- Should have Good working knowledge on Oracle Replications technologies
- Experience on DR Management and practical experience on Oracle DR Invoke Procedure.
- Manage Incidents, Service Request, Change management
- Track problems / Issues and close on timely manner
- Able to understand and manage customer expectations and Requirement
- Able to communicate and update Database Operations Status to IBM internal management and provide required reports
- Maintain Good Relationship with customer
- Good knowledge on IT Compliance Audit practices and requirement
- Should have knowledge on current IT technologies and developments
- Ensure business continuity through the implementation of best practice security principles to prevent confidential data from being exposed to unauthorized users
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills

- Minimum 6 Years of Work Experience with 4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma Engineering
- Ready to provide 24X7 Support
- Good verbal and written communication Skills in English
