Required Technical and Professional Experience
+ 7 + years of experience in database administration with strong hands-on expertise in both Oracle (12c/19c/21c) and SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
+ Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database performance tuning techniques.
+ Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
+ Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows Server environments.

+ Expertise in data mining, data storage and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes
+ Experience in data pipelines development and tooling, e.g., Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc
+ Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

- Experience in Query Optimization and efficiency on database performance improvement using SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer, Enterprise Manager, Index Tuning Wizard, and Windows Performance Monitor
- Knowledge of SQL Server tools (DTA, SSMS, PerfMon,SSDT).
- Hands On Experience on writing complex queries/ stored procedures / triggers / tables / views / indexes / constraints and functions.
- Knowledge on High Availability (HA), AlwaysOn, DB mirroring, log shipping
- Hands on Experience in user creation / access delegation / auditing.
- Hands on Experience in Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance
- Install and configure new SQL Servers
- When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes
