Job Summary:
The Entry Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design and development of processes for manufacturing Advanced Filtration & Separation (AFS) products. This role involves working under the guidance of experienced engineers, creating 3D models and CAD drawings for AFS products, Skilled in managing design metadata in Vault Pro, generating BOMs in ERP/SAP, and executing ECNs/DCNs.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Create 3D models and CAD drawings of engineered products / process equipment, including creation of general arrangement, assembly and fabrication drawings.
+ Conversion of 2D Drawings to 3D Models, modify, improve, and reverse engineering of existing designs and products. Experience in working with i-Factories and i-Properties of 3D Model files.
+ Create and update Meta-Data of designs and 3D models in PDM/PLM system (Vault Pro) for records, control and retrieval. Completion of Meta-Data of 3D Model files to get to a "release" ready status.
+ Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) in enterprise resource planning (ERP / SAP) system.
+ Design and detailing of Wastewater Treatment Products like Pressure Sand filters, Self-Cleaning filters, Hydro-Cyclones, In-take screens, Filter Press, Clarifiers, Thickeners, etc.,
+ Perform Root Cause Analysis of design / dimensional errors and bring out corrective action.
+ Prepare ECN (Engineering Change Notice) or DCN (Design Change Notice) and coordinate to complete the process.
+ Review and continuously improve the existing modeling approach to reduce the modeling / design execution time.
+ Cross functional interaction / coordination to ensure product / equipment design meeting the complete technical requirement.
+ Collaborate with Project Engineers to address technical requirement and coordinate with global team to address design queries.
**Academic and Professional Requirements:**
+ BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
+ 3 to 6 years of hands of experience in 3D CAD using Autodesk Inventor. Exposure in AutoCAD will be an added advantage but not a must.
+ Exposure in Autodesk VAULT or equivalent software for PDM.
+ Experience in equipment / product design and detail engineering with fair knowledge of material specification, fabrication detailing are preferred.
+ Experience in design & detail engineering (preparation of GA, Fabrication drawings, BOM etc.,) of Pressure Sand filters, Self-Cleaning filters, Hydro-Cyclones, In-take screens, Filter Press, Clarifiers, Thickeners, etc., are preferred.
+ Experience in equipment design and detail engineering in the domain of Water and Wastewater Treatment is preferred or similar experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical process and Power plants can be considered.
+ Exposure to MS Office package for preparing necessary documents, excel files and ppt's will be an advantage.
+ Experience in working with international teams towards engineering design will be an advantage.
+ Good communication skills to liaise with international teams; Extra miler / self-driven to meet the commitments / goals. Be analytical and problem solving.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced design Engineer with a strong background in design and engineering of condensers (both rectangular and circular) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of overall engineering experience (heat exchanger for power plant & other industry), including a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on condenser design and engineering. Additional knowledge or hands-on experience in Feedwater Heater (FWH) design & engineering is highly desirable, as this role may evolve to support both Condenser and FWH projects in the future.
Essential Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage engineering activities related to the design, development, and engineering execution of steam surface condensers projects (rectangular and circular types).
•Perform structural / mechanical and thermal design calculations, equipment sizing, and detailed drawing reviews as per customer specifications and applicable industry standards (e.g HEI, ASME, TEMA).
•Through checking of GA and fabrication drawings to meet code, customer specification and TEi design standard requirements.
•Complete co-ordination with TEi US team for design / drawing guidance, clarification & resolution on drawing comments.
•Plan and assign daily tasks to condenser drafter and provide guidance to produce accurate drawings.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including drafter, structural engineer, procurement, and project management to ensure alignment and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineer / drafter within the project team as applicable.
•Co-ordinate with internal FEA engineer for FEA inputs, review of FEA output / reports. Perform FEA analysis of Condenser/ FWH parts or assembly (Optional).
•ASME code calculation for FWH projects through Compress software.
•Coordinate and conduct technical reviews, design validations, and attend internal/external customer meetings.
•Support proposal teams with technical inputs (GA, BOM, technical proposal) and estimation for condenser and FWH-related scope.
•Review client specifications, prepare technical clarifications, and ensure designs comply with contractual requirements.
•Ensure documentation and designs adhere to company quality management systems and engineering standards.
•When required, provide engineering support and design for Feedwater Heaters (FWH), including thermal rating, mechanical design, drawing checking and shop supports.
•Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), installation reviews and commissioning & PG test supervision at site, as necessary.
Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Higher from a recognized university.
•Minimum of 10 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 5 years in condenser design and engineering. Primary experience should be with design & engineering of large rectangular condensers.
•Hands-on experience with both rectangular and circular steam surface condensers.
•Preferred: Experience in engineering of Feedwater Heaters (FWH).
•Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards such as HEI, ASME Section VIII, II & IX, TEMA, API.
•Proficiency in using design and analysis software such as Compress, HTRI, AutoCAD, ANSYS, Autodesk Inventor etc.
•Good understanding of thermal, mechanical, and fabrication aspects of heat exchangers and related pressure equipment.
•Thorough knowledge of welding, heat treatment, NDT, fabrication /machining tolerance etc.
